Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Terra wears very heavy armor and wields heavy weaponry, so the Offlane is basically a given for her. What is the other role Omeda Studios has recommended Terra for?

Answer: Jungle

Terra definitely has the survivability for the Jungle, while also possessing some nasty tools to use coming out and ambushing enemy lanes. Terra has a fair bit of bite to her attacks as well, making camp clearing out to be a pretty simple affair.

While having a stun, a root and being really big and tanky might seem to make Terra an appealing option for Support, she has not been recommended here for good reason. While there are probably worse fits for the role, Terra is ultimately completely outclassed in every meaningful way by Steel, while also being far less preferred compared to the likes of Mourn, Riktor and other generally tanky options for the role.

Steel is tankier than Terra and has a similar kit to her's, the former being clearly intended for the Support role and latter clearly not.
2. For a big, burly brawler like Terra, her stat build may be somewhat surprising. What is her highest stat?

Answer: Ability Power

Clocking in at 7, it is just barely higher than the 6 Terra gets for Durability. As such, her stat build does point one thing out- Terra is less of a tank and more of a fighter, aiming to use her bulk to supplement herself as opposed to being a dedicated frontline tank for the entire team.

In a pinch, 6 in Durability is certainly enough to attempt to frontline for the team. That said, alternatives such as Steel, Rampage and Mourn will typically be better suited to the tank playstyle, and Terra is better suited building items which improve her damage output alongside survivability.
3. Terra's Passive is Hersir, rewarding Terra for damaging enemies by enhancing her Basic Abilities when she lands a certain amount of hits. How many hits on enemy heroes must Terra first land before gaining the Hersir buff?

Answer: Five

Terra's Abilities will gain noticeable, but relatively minor effects when she is receiving the Hersir buff. Specifically, after landing five hits on enemy heroes, the very next Ability cast will gain the Hersir buff.

Abilities themselves count towards the five hits, clearly incentivizing a playstyle built around sustained close quarters combat using Terra's Abilities.

Additionally, if Terra Recalls to base, upon returning, she will immediately be granted the Hersir buff as if she'd achieved the five hits.
4. Terra's Alternate Ability is Wild Rush, featuring Terra tuck behind her huge shield before rushing forward and Knocking Back enemies in her way. There is a noticeable added benefit if Hersir is in play. What will Terra gain from a Hersir boosted Wild Rush?

Answer: A shield

If Wild Rush is buffed by Hersir, Terra will receive a decently sized shield based on her Maximum HP. The shield sadly only stays up for a few seconds, but it will be long enough for Terra to engage the afflicted for a couple of seconds, basically for free unless she happens to be facing a Riktor with Shock Therapy handy.
5. Terra's Primary Ability is Ruthless Assault, featuring her harshly swing her axe twice in a circular motion. This is a fairly mundane Ability, but gains a neat benefit courtesy of Hersir. Which of the following is something Hersir-boosted Ruthless Assault is capable of?

Answer: True Damage Output

If boosted by Hersir, Ruthless Assault will now swing for a third time, and this third swing will deal True damage. True damage is noteworthy for being impossible to resist with any form of armor. This is really useful, as Terra can definitely lack the firepower to take down especially tanky foes, so dealing True damage makes it a little bit harder for them to outlast her.
6. Highland Hurl is Terra's Secondary Ability, a simple manuever where Terra throws her axe at a target location. If Hersir boosted, this Ability can afflict enemies with a nasty status. What status?

Answer: Root

While requiring some precision and punishing Terra with a wasted Hersir if she misses, the payoff of landing this could very well be a straight up kill, or at least a lot of damage. Highland Hurl by itself deals fairly decent damage, but if Terra can Root her target, she can close the gap and start to beat them senseless. This is a fantastic tool to run down fleeing enemies, just as it has potential to allow Terra an escape, with or without the aid of Wild Rush.

If not boosted by Hersir, this Ability will instead apply a Slow to its victims.
7. Terra's Ultimate Ability is Unstoppable Force, instantly granting Terra max Hersir stacks on activation and granting her the Unstoppable status effect for several seconds. What does Unstoppable give Terra?

Answer: Crowd Control Immunity

Terra will be completely immune to all Crowd Control effects that can possibly exist for several seconds upon casting Unstoppable Force. Quite frankly, there is no situation where CC Immunity during a fight couldn't be extremely handy, as the vast majority of characters in this game have at least some means to apply CC.

As such, this is a really simple Ultimate to use, worth utilizing in virtually any fight with an enemy hero Terra could possibly get into.
8. Terra may choose one of three Hero Augments. Her first choice is Hersir's Will. This passively grants Terra a Hersir stack while she is using which of her Abilities?

Answer: Unstoppable Force

While Unstoppable Force is active, Terra will passively gain a stack of Hersir every 0.6 seconds. Activation of Unstoppable Force automatically gives Terra the max Hersir stacks, so the passive gain won't typically be a factor until at least a second or two has passed. Still, constantly receiving Hersir boosted attacks while in her Ultimate does have its appeal, giving this Augment some intrigue.
9. Iron Resolve is Terra's second choice for an Augment. This enhances her survivability, giving her a brief Damage Reduction buff when in the cast animation of which Ability?

Answer: Wild Rush

When using Wild Rush, the player must first press the button to prepare the attack, then press it again to confirm and actually use it. When amidst confirming the attack, Terra will gain significant Damage Reduction.
10. Axe Retrieval is Terra's final Augment, working with Highland Hurl. As the name implies, Terra can go to the location she threw her axe and use this Augment to 'retrieve' it. What benefit does she receive from retrieving her axe?

Answer: Cooldown reduction

The cooldown for Highland Hurl will be nearly cut in half if Terra manages to retrieve her axe. This is done by simply walking to the position the axe was thrown. The axe will not remain in the world for very long, so the Terra player will need to be rather prompt to go and retrieve it.
