Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. If you play "Resident Evil Requiem" in 'Standard (Classic)' Mode, you'll be able to collect which of these consumable items throughout the game?

Answer: Ink Ribbon

Players of classic "Resident Evil" titles know the feeling-- you need to be on top of resource management because items aren't as plentiful as one would hope. In those earlier titles, players could save their game from a Typewriter, often found in a safe room, and to do that they would need to consume one Ink Ribbon (which would also fill a slot in their inventory). Well, you can do the same thing in "Requiem" provided you play 'Standard (Classic) Mode', locating Ink Ribbons and Ink Ribbon Tins to support your needs. Playing in the more modern format allows you to use Typewriters at any time with no cost.
2. Which of these is used to make sense of the notebook in the Chairman's Office in the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center?

Answer: Pencil

On the second floor of the West Wing in the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center, the Chairman's Office overlooks a luxurious parlour and ends up containing a small windfall of necessary early items. For starters, there's a Unicorn Trinket Box on a small cupboard here, and opening that up will reveal a Red Jewel, necessary for opening a locked door a floor below.

More importantly is the inconspicuous Pencil on the desk in the adjacent room since you can use that to shade over a missing page in the Chairman's Journal, revealing a code that can be used to unlock the safe along the wall. Hitting MOON, SUN, STAR, and MOON will open the door and grant access to the Moon Quartz, the first of three stones needed for the door in the lobby.
3. Scraps can be used to craft more important, consumable items. Rare Metals are used specifically to make which of these?

Answer: 12.7x55mm Ammo

Both Grace and Leon have the ability to craft a number of helpful items, some of which are basic weaponry/consumables and some of which provide permanent boosts to health and damage. The catch is that almost all of these items use Scraps, found throughout each area and held in the inventory for the opportunity to be combined.

The only item that requires Rare Metals instead is ammunition for the Requiem (or any magnum, really). Rare Metals, in Rhodes Hill, are found in any lockpickable container. Leon can find more, though very rarely, throughout Raccoon City.
4. Grace will accidentally break the handle off the door to the Cold Storage room in Rhode Hill's West Wing. What does she need to gain access?

Answer: Wrench

The humble Wrench is the answer here, and while it seems like a useful item on its own, it's actually pretty benign, only getting used for the one door when you come across it in the Janitor's Office elsewhere in the West Wing. Grace will end up accidentally breaking the door wheel off completely in her rush to get through to the Cold Storage unit. Finding the Wrench will allow her to head inside and claim the Artificial Heart being held there.

The heart will subsequently go into the body in the labs, along with an artificial set of lungs, so that she can get the second ID Wristband.
5. In the Care Center Basement, Grace needs to locate a Toolbox in the Boiler Room. It contains a Socket Wrench with which shape in it?

Answer: Square

The Technician's Note in the basement indicates that the repairman has taken the Toolbox over to the Boiler Room as some of the devices in there are in desperate need of repair. They aren't wrong. When Grace arrives, the room is outright dangerous, containing a number of loose, severed wires, many of which hang into puddles of open water on the floor, creating a veritable electric minefield unless it's properly dealt with. Winding around and placing the Joint Plugs in the right spots will create a reasonable path to the Square Socket Wrench, needed to open the two-plug Power Distributor in a nearby chamber.
6. The Double Helix Model can be found, hidden, in which item in the VIP Suite?

Answer: Wine Bottle

Grace will make it out of the Care Center proper and her path will lead her across the courtyard to a VIP Suite and office, hunting for a set of keys for the helicopter outside. Finding it is part of a bigger puzzle, and when she interacts with a wine bottle on one of the tables, she can open it to find a Double Helix Model which, if placed into a slot in the nearby podium, will turn the office into a massive elevator, bringing her on a short descent into a hidden laboratory.
7. Which item, appearing in East Raccoon City, does Leon need to find at the Stagla Gas Station?

Answer: Gas Can

It may seem like a bit of a given, but the Gas Can is, fortunately, at the gas station, right next to the reserve fuel tank in the back of the building. Getting it filled is easy, but getting out alive is tough, since an onslaught of zombies (including some with chainsaws) will come in to cause trouble.

The Gas Can is used on three different generators found throughout East Raccoon City, each of which needs to be topped off from the one can. Some of these routes that open up are for extra ammo and goods, but at least one is essential for a piece of the Detonator, which Leon absolutely needs to progress.
8. Chloe can pick up and use which item to secure her escape from the altar room beneath the Raccoon City Orphanage?

Answer: Fire Poker

In a flashback sequence brought on by Zeno's storytelling and video footage, you'll play the role of Chloe for a brief spell, encountering an incident which occurred in the Raccoon City Orphanage several years before the Spencer Mansion incident. While the other orphans in the institute are awakened in their final form, Chloe searches for an escape route and winds her way down through the facility all the way to the ARK labs.

She'll pick up two items on the way, the first being the Hatch Key in one of the offices and the other being a Fire Poker, which she needs to reach a ladder, pull it down, and climb to relative safety.
9. The Mechanic Jack, found in the RPD Building (where it was left) is used for what purpose in "Requiem"?

Answer: Opening shutters

Having to revisit his one-time, single-night workplace, Leon will trace a path to the Raccoon City Police Department building when he reaches Raccoon City Central, passing back through the traumatic halls and offices that once held their own mysteries back when the city started to feel the original t-Virus infection.

The Library is where he'll find the Mechanic Jack, having been placed there by himself or Claire in "Resident Evil 2". It'll still work. He needs to grab it to lift up the shutters blocking the main hall from the West and East Wing corridors. Once both are open, he'll be able to leave it behind.
10. Which of these items is the odd one out with relation to 'The Final Puzzle'?

Answer: Leatherbound Notebook

You may have completed "Resident Evil Requiem", but if you like to beat your head against the keyboard solving hyper-complex puzzles with minimal clues (all cryptic), you really have an opportunity to do so here with 'The Final Puzzle', which requires a lot of things to fall into place.

Marie's Doll, for example, requires that you crush up one hundred fifteen zombies in the blood collection chamber below Rhodes Hill before flushing a specific toilet eight times. From this chain of events you'll eventually get Marie's Doll from the lab under the VIP Suite.

The Severed Hand is left over from your escape from 'The Girl'; it cuts off in the elevator door in the lobby. You can analyze the blood from it using a laser microscope and prompt a codebreaking puzzle chain (which also involves a clue in the sand-filled side of the Hourglass in the VIP Suite).

Carrying Emily in Rhodes Hill while holding the Marie Doll and completing the final code puzzle on the appropriate office safe will trigger the completion of the puzzle.
