After their failed crawl, the gang attempts to pull themselves back together in the wake of an unexpected, dangerous event that leaves Holly Wheeler in the clutches of the enemy.

With Vecna's next victim identified, the gang looks for ways to stay one step ahead, even if it means setting an elaborate and dangerous trap, while El and Hopper find reason to figure out what the military is hiding in the Upside Down.

In Hawkins, the gang attempts to plan a great escape to save Vecna's chosen children while in the Upside Down, Hopper and El storm the military base searching for answers.
