Aeris is the easiest to date. Tifa is also fairly easy, but you have to make an effort if you want to date Barret or Yuffie. This happens at the Gold Saucer.

When Tifa is almost ready to use her Limit Break the weapon is very, very powerful (and can hit with the maximum damage of 9999). This is the only reason I do not use Tifa in my party as this lets her battle effectiveness down.

To continue in the game you have to make the Honey Bee Inn the first place you visit (but you can rest and shop etc first) and talk to the chubby man. After he speaks the above mentioned line you have a choice of response. The first is "This place doesn't interest me." and the second is "You know a girl named Tifa?" If you reply with the latter he says "Hey you're pretty fast! Tifa's our newest girl but unfortunately she's having an interview right now." He continues by explaining that all the 'new' girls have to go to Don Corneo's mansion. He continues with "Don Corneo is a famous dilettante who wants to settle down and is in the market for a bride." So you now know where Tifa is.

He morphs into two different forms, each one more annoying than the last one, so be prepared for a long battle! It is also revealed later in the game that Hojo isn't Sephiroth's true father. Professor Gast is his biological father.
