The Highwind flies, and it can only land on smooth, green terrain. Finally, the submarine floats on deep water, and dives in deep water.

The Snowboard can only be used in Icicle Inn, but you have it even after you finish the Gaea Cliffs.

They are Blue, Green, Black, and Gold. Blue can be made with a great and a good rank chocobo. It can travel on shallow water. Green can be made with a great and a good rank chocobo. It can travel on all mountains. A Black chocobo requires you to mate Blue and Green chocobos of different genders.

It has the powers of the blue and green chocobo, but it can't go everywhere. A Gold chocobo is very difficult to make, you need a black and a wonderful chocobo. It helps if you train them to A or S rank in the Gold Saucer. Gold chocobos can go anywhere in the world.

Joe and his black chocobo, Teioh are the toughest competition in the chocobo races. They appear a lot in the A and S rank races. They are extremely difficult to beat because Teioh's speed and stamina are very high. If you don't have a Gold chocobo trained to it's very highest, he is almost impossible to beat.
