A slightly unconventional weapon, to be sure, but the Hat Kid can execute a three-hit combo with her umbrella. After obtaining the umbrella, she swiftly takes down the Mafia and obtains her first Time Piece needed to help re-power her spaceship and return home. Whilst jumping mid-air, she can also use a homing strike, which is necessary against the Mafia who 'get her all figured out' and become invulnerable to her umbrella.

Edmond Hoyle was an Englishman who published rules and regulations about card games that were quickly accepted as the definitive rules. He lived in the C17 and was a writer, private tutor and lawyer. The first level takes place in the laboratory he has shrunk himself into. You have 45 seconds to collect as many power-up items as you can. Harley can collect nails, rubber bands, bolts, and an extra man if the gamer is quick enough.

It wouldn't be a collect-a-thon without things to collect; in this game we have yarn, badges, relics and time pieces. Whew! That sounds like a lot, but the vast majority of collectable items can be found simply by playing thoroughly. The yarn quickly becomes obsolete as there are far more spools of yarn to be found than are required for the recipes to produce the magical hats. However, the specific types of yarn required to create later hats such as the Dweller and Time Stop hats don't appear until later levels.

The problem with Hearts is that you must avoid winning a trick containing a heart, or the Queen of Spades. Instructions in the rules of the games are included.

In the second level of "Homeworld", you exit hyperspace in the outskirts of the Kharak system in order to rendezvous with the support vessel Khar-Selim. The Khar-Selim spent 10 years on conventional engines to get there in order to provide assistance in case of the Mothership's hyperdrive malfunctioning when the time came for it to be tested. However, you find that the Khar-Selim was destroyed by space pirates known as the Turanic Raiders. The Khar-Toba is the name of the ancient starship that the Kushan find buried in the sands of Kharak, which held clues that showed that the Kushan didn't originate from Kharak but from Hiigara instead. The Kuun-Lan is the name of the Command Ship that you control during the course of the sequel PC game "Homeworld: Cataclysm". Riesstiu is the name of the Taiidan Emperor during the events of "Homeworld". His full name is Emperor Riesstiu IV the Second.

The Mustache Girl broke a Time Piece which sent them back a few seconds in time, demonstrating the potential for time travel. After realising the power of the relics the Hat Kid needed to reclaim, she fantasised about going back in time to defeat the Mafia over and over again. However, the Hat Kid was more concerned with getting home than with the local politics and thus she took the Time Piece back from the Mustache Girl. Amusingly, the friendship bar that had been building not only depleted to zero, it just kept on going until the word *ENEMIES* appeared on screen.

When Flora Dale was getting ready to go out for dinner, she heard something outside the restroom she was in. She went out and screamed when someone pushed her down the stairs. She was later in the hospital and could not remember anything at all. She is injured everywhere and falls in a deep coma in which she has a nightmare. The player plays in her nightmare to find clues about her attacker.
