1. Where was the Saluki first created?

Answer: Ancient Mesopotamia

The Saluki is the oldest dog breed, descended from the light desert wolves. Developed as a sighthound, the Saluki can run at speeds of nearly forty miles an hour. In more recent times, the breed was considered the only type of dog clean enough to be allowed into the home by the Muslims.
2. What is a Beauceron?

Answer: French Herding Breed

The Beauceron is a large black and tan herding breed. The ears are usually cropped, and the appearance is that of a slightly more rough coated Doberman with a tail and a less snipy muzzle.
3. What is the Fila Brasileiro used for?

The Fila Brasileiro can weigh nearly 200 pounds and stand almost three feet tall. They are very strong and as the puppies grow older they start showing ojeriza, basically a loathing of strangers and utter loyalty to its master. Of course, as if having a massive dog attacking you wasn't bad enough, they also have great speed and jumping abilty.
4. What is a Kishu?

The Kishu is used to hunt boar and deer in remote areas of Japan. Very rare. They are snow white to cream and are medium sized, as are most Japanese dogs.

Answer: A German Hunting Dog

The Large Munsterlander is a medium sized German hunting dog.They stand about 24 inches tall and weigh about 45 pounds. Colors are black and white with black ticking. Coat is about medium length.
6. What breeds are Kyi Leos descended from?

Answer: Lhasa Apso and Maltese

The Kyi Leo is to my knowledge the only dog breed with a restricted symbol after its name. They stand about 8 to 12 inches and weigh 9 to 14 pounds. They are said to be able to grasp objects in their paws.
7. Was the Chinese Foo Dog thought to be extinct?

Answer: Yes

The Chinese Foo Dog was thought to be extinct until rediscovered recently. Three sizes. A typical Spitz dog, thought to be the missing link between the wolf and the Chow-Chow or from crosses of Chow Chows and Northern European hunting dogs. The mascot of the Tongs and believed to bring good luck. Very furry.
8. What is the Alaskan Klee Klai?

Answer: A toy version of the Siberian Husky

The Klee Klai, although a tiny Siberan Husky, did not orignate in Alaska, but in fact the continental USA.
9. What is the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog?

Answer: A strain of American Bulldog

The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog is a type of American Bulldog, slightly, and I mean slightly, slimmer and smaller than an American Bulldog. They are all related to a single Georgian bulldog from a plantation in Alapaha. They can grow up to 24 inches tall.
10. What is the Chart Polski?

Answer: A giant Polish sighthound and guard

The Chart Polski is a huge sighthound. They can stand up to 32 inches tall and are a little more solid than their relative the Greyhound. Sometimes used for guarding.
