In the story "The Jungle Book" by Rudyard Kipling, Baloo's job is to teach Mowgli the 'Law of the Jungle'. However, in the 1967 movie of the same name, Disney made him out to be a rather laid back bear who only wants to have fun.

Answer: Br'er Bear

Br'er Bear also appeared in the 1946 Disney movie "Song of The South". If you look really closely you will also see him at the end of the movie "The Lion King One and a Half", and also the final scene of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".
