Answer: Brutus Beefcake

Born Edward Harrison Leslie in 1957, Brutus Beefcake began wrestling in WWF in 1984. He was involved in several exciting feuds with Hulk Hogan and the British Bulldogs. In July of 1990, Leslie was struck in the face by a friend's knees, while the friend was preparing to take off on his parasail. Brutus Beefcake suffered extensive and life-threatening injuries and needed his face to be reconstructed by medical professionals. Even though he returned to WWF following the injury, his career was never the same.

He hosted the infamous "The Barber Shop" segment where Shawn Michaels betrayed his partner Marty Jannetty, but left WWF in 1993.

Answer: Dusty Rhodes

"Summerslam" 1990 was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 27, 1990. At that time, Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire were feuding with Randy Savage and Queen Sherri. Though Sapphire and Sherri were booked to compete against each other at the Pay Per View, Sapphire didn't show up and lost the match by default. Later in the night, "Macho Man" was set to wrestle Dusty Rhodes.

However, Rhodes was distracted by Ted DiBiase, which allowed Savage to attack "the American Dream" from behind. This ultimately resulted in Randy Savage winning the match much more quickly than expected.

Answer: The Rockers

The Rockers was a tag team that was active in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Its members were Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty. The two superstars wrestled together in several different promotions, such as NWA, AWA, and CWA, before becoming The Rockers in WWF. Even though the team never officially won any WWF tag team titles, it remains one of the most remembered tag teams of the "Golden Era" of the WWF.

At "Wrestlemania VII" (March 1991), The Rockers beat The Barbarian and Haku in a tag team match. A few months later, and after real-life tensions began developing between Michaels and Jannetty, the team memorably split up after Michaels attacked Jannetty during a "Barbershop" segment with Brutus Beefcake. Michaels went on to have a much more successful career than Jannetty after the incident.

Answer: Bart Gunn

Bart Gunn (whose real name is Michael Polchlopek) worked for WWF between 1993 and 1999. During that time, he won the WWF Tag Team Championship three times with his "brother" Billy Gunn. In mid-1998, WWF launched its controversial "Brawl for All" tournament, which consisted of boxing-style matches that often resulted in superstars getting injured. Gunn ultimately won that tournament against Bradshaw, and a year later, he was booked to fight against boxer Eric Esch at "Wrestlemania XV". Even though Gunn was trained by Ray Rinaldi, he was easily knocked out by "Butterbean" in less than a minute.

Unfortunately, Gunn was fired shortly after that match.

Answer: Sleazy, Queasy, and Cheesy

Jerry "the King" Lawler and Doink the Clown (then portrayed by Matt Osborne) developed a brief rivalry in the latter part of 1994 that resulted in the two being booked to compete against each other at that year's "Survivor Series" Pay Per View. What was rather unique about this 4-on-4 elimination match was that six of the participants were "little people".

The Royal Family, led by Lawler and completed by Sleazy, Queasy, and Cheesy, emerged victorious from the event after the first group successfully eliminated all of its opponents.

Answer: Rodeo

Billy Gunn, whose real name is Monty Kip Sopp, wrestled for WWF (and then WWE) between 1993 and 2004. He teamed up with his "brother" Bart Gunn for the first few years of his WWF career but then went on to join different tag teams. He won the WWF Hardcore Championship twice, the WWF Intercontinental Championship once, and most notably, was a 10-time winner of the WWF World Tag Team Championship.

Before beginning his professional wrestling career, Sopp worked as a professional bull rider. As a matter of fact, Sopp attended college at Sam Houston State University on a "Rodeo scholarship".

Answer: The Headbangers

"Wrestlemania" 13 took place on March 23, 1997 in Rosemont, Illinois. The Pay Per View began with an exciting Four-Way Elimination match to determine a number one contender for the WWF Tag Team Championship, then held by Owen Hart and the British Bulldog. The team of Mosh and Thrasher, collectively known as The Headbangers, ultimately won the match after pinning Phineas I. Godwinn of The Godwinns. The other two tag teams in the match were The New Blackjacks (Blackjack Bradshaw and Blackjack Windham) and Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon.

The Headbangers would not immediately become champions, but would later win their first and only titles in September of 1997 in another Four-Way Elimination match at "Ground Zero: In Your House".

Answer: Casket Match

One of The Undertaker's signature match stipulations is the Casket Match. In this type of bout, the only way to win is to completely place an opponent into a casket that is at ringside. The first Casket Match happened in 1992 when Undertaker defeated Kamala at "Survivor Series". Other famous Casket Matches include the two encounters between Undertaker and Yokozuna in 1994 and the match between the "Deadman" and Mark Henry at "Wrestlemania" 22.

Kama had two Casket Matches against The Undertaker: first at "In Your House 2" in July 1995 and then at "Summerslam" 1995. Perhaps predictably, Undertaker won both matches.

Answer: All-Star Wrestling

Vince McMahon is one of the most important names in the sports entertainment industry, since he is largely responsible for turning professional wrestling into a million-dollar business. McMahon's father, Vincent J. McMahon, was a promoter and then-owner of the WWWF. McMahon Jr. is believed to have had tremendous influence in his father's business, and ultimately bought the company from his dad in the 1980s.

In addition to his off-screen roles as leader of WWF and as an occasional wrestler, McMahon also appeared on WWF television as an announcer for many years. The first time he performed this role was in 1969 at "All-Star Wrestling", a WWWF event. In 2023, McMahon announced that he had agreed on a billion-dollar deal to combine WWE and the company that owned Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Answer: It was a Handicap Match

"Wrestlemania V" took place on April 2, 1989 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The main event for that Pay Per View was billed with the tagline "the Mega Powers explode", referring to the WWF World Heavyweight Championship match between Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. This Pay Per View also featured an unusually high number of tag team matches, with five out of the night's fourteen bouts being tag team competitions.

One of them was the match between Demolition (Ax and Smash) and The Powers of Pain (The Warlord and The Barbarian). Unusually the manager of the latter team (Mr. Fuji) was also part of the in-ring action at this "Wrestlemania" bout, making it a 3-on-2 Handicap Match for the WWF Tag Team belts. This strategy would backfire on The Powers of Pain, since Mr. Fuji ended up being pinned by Ax.
