WWF 'SmackDown' Live August 16, 2001 Quiz

The WCW Chairman, Shane McMahon, came to the ring at the sold out E Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Shane said Booker knew how to win championships and that he would successfully defend his title at 'Summerslam' this coming Sunday night. Shane then called out who he claimed to be 'The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment' today.

He called out Booker T! Booker is considered a poor man's champ, because he could NEVER get into the WWF before WCW went bankrupt!

Booker came to the ring and imitated The Rock. Then Booker said 'Finally, the Book has come back to Utah'. Booker said that the 'Rock Bottom' was a poor imitation of his move the 'Bookend'. According to Booker he said, 'I have the most bootiful (meaning beautiful) style in the business'. Who would want to copy Booker?! Certainly not The Rock! The Rock has more class and talent in his little finger than Booker has in his whole body!

The Rock came to the ring and congratulated Booker on giving him the 'Rock Bottom' not once but twice and on a steel chair at that! He said he heard about Booker calling the move the 'Bookend', but The Rock said it was called the 'Rock Bottom'. He also said that Booker is going to get that move come 'Summerslam'.

The Rock then called out Booker who, of course, was accompanied by Shane McMahon. Booker said to Shane, 'Tell me he did not just say that'! Why does Booker ALWAYS say that? Can't he think of something else to say? Get real Booker!

Answer: William Regal and Tajiri

In another refreshing match, William Regal and Tajiri faced off against X-Pac and Albert. Regal and Tajiri fought hard but were no match against Albert. At one point, Tajiri tried to give X-Pac the 'Tarantula', but Albert broke it up. Albert gave Tajiri the 'Baldobomb' for the pin. Better luck next time Regal and Tajiri! Way to go Albert and X-Pac!

Austin was holding the 'Invitational' to see if the other wrestlers could graduate from Stone Cold University. Austin gave the clipboard to WWF referee Earl Hebner, so he could get the WWF Superstars to sign it.

Angle was the first to sign. He wanted to make sure Austin called him out first!

Answer: Scotty 2 Hotty

Austin was supposed to call out the first name on the 'Invitational', but instead he turned the clipboard upside down and called out Scotty 2 Hotty. Scotty was the last to sign. When Scotty came to the ring, Austin used this moment to put down Angle and the WWF.

He got in Scotty's face and was yelling and screaming at him. One could see Scotty was getting ticked off. Finally, Scotty could take no more and gave Austin the 'Bulldog' and was about to give him the 'Worm' when Austin got up and kicked him down and started beating him. Kurt came to Scotty's rescue and started pounding on Austin. Tazz, who was at ringside, interfered and gave Angle the 'Tazzmission'. With that said, we all know Austin is going down at 'Summerslam'!

Answer: RVD and Rhyno

Jericho and Jeff faced off against RVD and Rhyno. Jericho and Jeff were doing good and looked like they were going to win when all of a sudden Stephanie, who accompanied Rhyno to the ring, grabbed Jericho's leg letting Rhyno 'Gore' him once more. While the referee wasn't paying attention, RVD brought a ladder halfway into the ring and when Jeff, who was knocked down, got up, RVD jumped on it driving it into Jeff's chin.

While Jeff was dazed, RVD hit him with a 'Five Star Frog Splash' for the win.

Answer: DDP and Kanyon

E and C faced off against DDP and Kanyon for the WWF Tag Team Championship. E and C almost had the titles, but DDP gave King Edge the 'Diamond Cutter' for the pin. Moments later, Lance Storm came to the ring and was about to hit Edge with a chair, but Christian saved Edge. Way to go E and C!

Coach interviewed 'Taker and Kane. 'Taker said DDP and Kanyon were going to be made an example of at 'Summerslam'.

Answer: The APA

The APA said that at 'Summerslam' The Dudley Boyz and Test were going to get theirs when they wrestled them and Spike Dudley.

Answer: Tazz

Tazz walked to the ring accompanied by members of the so called Alliance. Angle was accompanied by the biggest, strongest members of the WWF. As the match was starting, Austin came to the top of the ramp. This caused Angle to turn his back on Tazz. Angle then fought Tazz, but Tazz locked in the 'Tazzmission'.

However, Angle fought back and gave Tazz the 'Olympic Slam' for the win. Then Angle called Austin to the ring. Austin thought about it then decided against it. When Tazz attacked Angle, Austin came running to the ring and hit Angle from behind. Angle put Austin in the 'Ankle Lock' before the members of both sides got into it. Finally, the Dudley Boyz were seen dragging Angle away.

They should have dragged him to the pound. That's where all sick pups go!

Answer: Lights Out Match

The main event was a Lights Out Match. In this match there were no rules.

Answer: The Rock

The Rock faced Booker T in the first ever Lights Out Match. The event started off with The Rock laying the smackdown on Booker. The two took the brawl up the ramp and back to the announcer's table. The Rock was pummelling Booker and was about to give him the 'Rock Bottom' through the announcer's table when all of a sudden Shane came out from under the ring and gave The Rock a low blow.

This caused The Rock to let his guard down and Booker used this opportunity to give The Rock the 'Rock Bottom'. Again, since no bell was rung and there was no pin, The Rock won in my eyes. All Booker T knows how to do is cheat! I wish he'd get a different job!
