1. A feeling of terror

Answer: Fear

Fear is an emotion that is felt when a person is put in a position of danger or a threatening situation where something bad may happen. What causes fear in one person may have no effect on somebody else. An excessive fear of an object or a situation is called a phobia.

3. A word to describe something that is close to you

Answer: Near

When an object is near to you it means that it is not very far away (in distance or in time). It can be a physical object, as in "My house is near the park", or it can be more abstract, as in "The light was fading, which meant night was near".
4. A period of twelve months

Answer: Year

A calendar year is twelve months long, which is 365 days. The time it takes for the Earth to go around the sun is 365 and one quarter days. As there is an extra quarter day each year every four years an extra day is added to the month of February. This is called a leap year.
