6. Which river does Anne Boleyn cross every Christmas Eve?

Well, Anne Boleyn is certainly a busy bee... She is said to cross the River Eden outside Hever Castle every Christmas Eve. If you look up the River Eden in relation to this claim, make sure it is the one in Kent not Cumbria.
7. Thorpe Hall in Lincolnshire is haunted by a Spanish woman, but why did she choose this place?

Answer: Her spirit followed the owner (and her lover) home after her death

Although Lincolnshire is a nice county, this particular ghost did in fact follow her lover back to England after her death. He was Sir John Bolle, the owner of Thorpe Hall.
8. The spirit of King Arthur is rumoured to have remained where?

Answer: Tintagel Castle in Cornwall

King Arthur is rumoured to still be at Tintagel Castle in Cornwall. The reason why he may have chosen this castle is that in 1139, Geoffrey de Monmouth published a book which claimed that Tintagel Castle was the birthplace of King Arthur.
9. The 'father of all clowns' Grimaldi haunts which famous London theatre?

Answer: The Theatre Royal on Drury Lane

Joseph Grimaldi is known as the 'father of all clowns' and he is said to haunt the Theatre Royal on Drury Lane. He set the standards in 'clowning' for all time, and his image was followed for more than 50 years.
10. Not so much a ghost, but an 'un-dead' - what lurks at Croglin Low Hall in Cumbria?

Answer: Vampire

I have not heard of a vampire in England before! However, it is said that a vampire lurks at Croglin Low Hall in Cumbria. It would seem that the north of England is not very lucky when it comes to ghosts, apparitions and such like!
