Anne is a well-loved character from L.M. Montgomery's series of books, set on Prince Edward Island, Canada. Anne hates her red hair, and breaks a slate over Gilbert Blythe's head when he calls her 'carrots'.

Alan Ball twice set the English domestic transfer record, firstly when he moved from Blackpool to Everton in August 1966 (for a fee of 110,000 pounds) and then when he moved again to Arsenal, for roughly double the amount. Players nowadays transfer for millions!
3. Name the Australian redheaded actress whose early roles included 'Bangkok Hilton' and 'Dead Calm'.

Answer: Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman was born in Hawaii, but moved to Australia at the age of three. 'Bangkok Hilton' was a TV-film where Nicole played a young woman imprisoned in a Thai jail after a companion hid drugs in her luggage. She has also starred in more well-known films such as 'To Die For', 'Moulin Rouge' and the Oscar-winning 'The Hours'.

Moira Shearer was the young Scottish star of 'The Red Shoes' in 1948, a movie that inspired millions of little girls to want ballet lessons. Shearer had a successful acting career alongside her dancing, and married TV presenter Ludovic Kennedy.

Nicole Kidman was born in America, though she was raised in Australia. She is an Academy Award-winning actress.

Kylie also sang a song called 'Better the Devil You Know', but it was a different song, and it wasn't for Eurovision.

German player Boris was known as 'Boom-Boom' because of his powerful serve. At the top of his game Boris was practically unbeatable. He also commentates on matches for German TV, and for the BBC.

Woodforde and Woodbridge, known to fans as the Woodies, were an almost unstoppable team on the doubles court. They won the silver medal at the Sydney Olympics, just before Mark retired. Todd now plays doubles with Sweden's Jonas Bjorkman. Rod Laver was another Australian redheaded tennis star, but from an earlier generation.
