Well, I had to include my hometown in this series of quizzes! Kirkcaldy, on the shores of the Firth of Forth, is nicknamed the Lang Toun, and was a major centre of the linoleum industry for many years.

Kendal stands on the River Kent, just outside the Lake District National Park. The town was the administrative centre of the former county of Westmoreland until 1974, when that county was absorbed into Cumbria.

Kingston Upon Hull is normally referred to by locals as just 'Hull'. The River Hull flows through the city in to the Humber. Hull was part of the East Riding of Yorkshire until 1974, when it became part of the new district of Humberside; in 1996 it became a unitary authority.

Kirkwall is situated on the northern coast of Mainland, Orkney. At the heart of the town is St Magnus' Cathedral, built in the 12th century.
