Unlike the book, Klaus escapes from "The Marvelous Marriage" (the play Count Olaf has created to marry Violet and inherit the Baudelaire fortune) to rescue Sunny, who was locked up in the tower to bribe Violet to marry him.

Like every other detail of this movie, the taxi was blue for a change. This movie was very colorful, so maybe that's why they decided to use a blue taxi.
