Intrigued she makes a trip to Guernsey to find out more herself. The movie was based on the book of the same name and I highly recommend the book instead.

"The Tailor of Panama" is a spy thriller based on a novel by John le Carre, who also contributed to the screenplay. Pierce Brosnan stars as an MI6 agent along with Geoffrey Rush, who plays the eponymous tailor of Panama. However, Rush was a formerly a convict and Brosnan uses this knowledge to get him to spy on the Panama government.

Originally told as a series of short stories, these were later converted into a novel by author Sally Benson titled "Meet Me in St. Louis". This inspired the 1944 film of the same name. The movie spans a year in the life of the Smith family with the finale coinciding with the 1904 World's Fair that was held in St. Louis and also known as the Louisiana Purchase Exposition.
10. Seven Years in ___

Answer: Tibet

The film is based on the book of the same name written by Austrian mountaineer Heinrich Harrer. Harrer's time in this region spanned a period of over ten years from 1939 to 1951. This was a defining period for Tibet covering World War II and its impact and ending with the Chinese annexation of the region. Brad Pitt starred as Harrer.
