Allen, born on June 13th, 1953 in Denver, Colorado, was cast as Scott Calvin/Santa Claus. Scott worked for a major toy company until his life changed one night after Santa Claus fell off his roof. Once he put on the suit, he was subjected to becoming St. Nick himself. Throughout the movie, Scott's relationship with his ex-wife, Laura, goes from acrimonious in the beginning to more civilized near the end. Allen starred in the films "Galaxy Quest" and "Christmas With the Kranks". One of his most famous movie roles was lending his voice to Buzz Lightyear for the "Toy Story" film franchise.

Eastwood, born on December 17th, 1946 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, had the small role of Judy the waitress. Judy worked at Denny's and served both Scott and Charlie after Scott burned the turkey for dinner one night.
