Even though I think Birds vs. Worms is technically an older song, Blue Cadet was released in 1994 and Birds was released in 1997.

Big Black's stint was short, but it's influence on the American underground was strong. Albini has produced albums by Nirvana, Pixies, Breeders, PJ Harvey.

Even though Surfer Rosa (1988) was their first full-length, the Come on Pilgrim EP was released in 1987.

The Gerbils are now a member of the Elephant 6. They are part of the second generation of artists that work with the core group.

Vig's involvement with Gish was overshawdowed by his involvment with Nirvana's Nevermind ablum. Both released in the same year (1991)

Johnston's been recording since the 80's. He's written several known songs about Casper, but since the KIDS soundtrack sold quite well, he's known more for this particular version.

He played with them for about a year. Flea said it was Fear's drummer, Spit Stix, who inspired his punk ethics.
