The 7 inch B-side single featured the lyrics from the 'Reel Around The Fountain', 'Slap Me On The Patio'. This song was due to be the A-side but was replaced by 'This Charming Man'
2. Terence Stamp was found on the front of this sleeve which the actor wanted removed due to being very unhappy at having his image being used on a pop cover. Only the intervention of Sandie Shaw helped the situation to be resolved and the picture remain. This single reached number 12 in January 1984 in the UK charts. What is the name of the single?

Answer: What Difference Does It Make?

Stamp had his face grinning from a picture taken for the 1965 film 'The Collector' directed by William Wyler. A number of weeks had passed after the record was released before Stamp instigated a replacement sleeve to avoid legal action, a comical pose of Morrissey in the same pose from 'The Collector' with a glass of milk. Only when Sandie Shaw apologised on behalf of The Smiths, did Stamp agree that the picture could remain as long as his permission was asked in future.
3. The single 'The Boy With The Thorn In His Side' was released in September 1985 reaching number 23 in the UK charts, however, which author famous for writing 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' adorned the single sleeve?

Answer: Bigmouth Strikes Again

Morrissey wrote a book called 'James Dean Is Not Dead', citing that "What he did on film didn't stir me much". Years later Morrissey admitted that he found Dean "purely a physical obsession". Morrissey however decided to travel to Dean's hometown of Fairmount, Indiana to film his first solo video Suedehead (1988)claiming that it was a "very, very moving" experience.
5. Elvis Presley starred on the front cover of this January 1987 single, which was believed to be a picture of his first photo shoot having just signed for 'Sun Records', what was the single?

Answer: Shoplifters Of The World Unite

The problem with this single was that Morrisey decided to "copy" the pose Elvis had made in 1954. He later stated that he had "overdone the Max Factor" and "looked like a ponce".
On the back of the sleeve the band made a dedication to their former manager Ruth Polsky who was tragically killed when she was run over by a taxi in 1986.
6. 1950s rocker Billy Fury appeared on this single sleeve. The original 12 inch single was scrapped after the band removed the lyrics from two of their songs ('Well I Wonder' and 'When I Sleep With That Picture Beside Me'). But which single could Fury be found on?

Answer: Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me

Fury was seen as the British Elvis. Born in Liverpool as Ronald Wycherley, he later became a singer of pop ballads. Fury was not a well man and was hampered by heart problems since a young age. Morrissey stated once that Fury was "Entirely doomed and I find that quite affectionate", "He was persistently unhappy but had a string of hit records. He always wanted to make very emotionally over-blown ballads but he found himself in the midst of that popular arena. He despised almost every aspect of the music industry and was very, very ill from an early age, Billy's singles are totally treasurable"

The album in question had Richard Davalos on the set of the 1955 James Dean movie 'East of Eden' on the album sleeve. This came about after Morrissey had watched the film and wanted to write to Davalos and congratulate him on his wonderful acting. Keital was asked by the bands label if he would allow his picture taken from the 1967 film 'Who's that Knocking On My Door'. Keital refused stating he had "never heard of them" and Davalos was hastily chosen to fill the space.
