Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the first album to feature a picture of all the members of the band on the front cover?

Answer: Rush in Rio

"Rush in Rio" is the live CD and DVD which were recorded during Rush's triumphant "Vapor Trails" return tour. Return being after a five year break due to personal events of the band members. This also was the first time the band had toured South America. I did not include the record called "Rush Through Time" as it's not an official release.
2. Which cover features a flying owl?

Answer: Exit...Stage Left

Of course the album "Fly by Night" has the owl with its wings spread open, but it is not actually in flight. The live album, "Exit... Stage Left" has images from each of the previous studio albums, where you can see the owl flying behind the "Permanent Waves" girl.
3. On which front cover did the "Man in Star" logo first appear?

Answer: All the World's a Stage

Although the logo does first appear on "2112", it's on the inside sleeve. It doesn't appear on a cover until the "All the World's a Stage" double live album.
4. Which cover has a twisted, old looking tree?

Answer: Caress of Steel

This is one of those which is actually on the back of the album cover. It was painted by long time Rush artist/cover designer Hugh Syme.
5. Which cover has a traffic signal on it?

Answer: Permanent Waves

In the background of the cover, you can see a man leaning against a crossing signal, waving. On the signal it says "Walk" and "Cross Here".
6. Which cover has a dropped bag of groceries?

Answer: Moving Pictures

It's a little hard to see it, but the group of people to the right of the movers have dropped it.
7. Here's a "Moving Pictures" question; how many dogs appear on the cover of the album?

Answer: seven

One of the three pictures that the movers are moving is the picture which has dogs playing poker. The other two pictures are the "Man in Star" logo and Joan of Arc at the stake.
8. Which album has a blue print plan on it?

Answer: Signals

This picture, or drawing, appears on the back side of the album.
9. Which of the listed album has cameras on the cover?

Answer: Moving Pictures

There are cameras on the back of the album cover.
10. Which of the albums listed has a bald person on it?

Answer: Grace Under Pressure

Although it's a weird cover, I like the way it works. I think it's cool art work.
