Born John Simon Ritchie on May 10, 1957, to John Ritchie and Anne Randall, Vicious had an unusal childhood. He often baby-sat for friends and family members of his mother and learned to swear very loudly in Spanish. Since John Jr.'s father, John Sr., left his little family when John was just an infant, his mother Anne, went to Ibiza, where she and her young son lived with friends and family until 1965.
