Answer: 4

A strange statistic, 44-4 times. He hit the big ones with the Braves of Milwaukee in 1957 and 1963. Then during the first Braves' season in Atlanta in 1966, he did it again. 1969 was his final time. Aaron retired with 755 home runs, still on top entering the 2003 season.
2. I played 22 seasons in the big leagues. I was an All-Star for 20 consecutive seasons. I was a Rookie of the Year. I went to 4 World Series but never hit a home run. I own 2 season MVP Awards, and retired with the New York Mets with 660 home runs. Who am I?

Answer: Chicago Cubs

The Cubs defeated the Detroit Tigers 4 games to 1. The Cubs were rostered with the most famous double-play combination in baseball history: Tinkers, Evers, and Chance. No other team listed, existed in 1908. The Yankees did not see their first season until 1913.
4. What baseball pioneer was inducted into the Hall of Fame, 20 years after bringing Jackie Robinson to Major League baseball?

Answer: Branch Rickey

5. What player had the nickname, "The Flying Dutchman"?

Answer: Honus Wagner

7. Which of the following occurred during the 1989 World Series?

Answer: There was an earthquake

After losing game 1 and game 2, the Giants decided to change the pace of the Series with an earthquake. Not really, but due to the age of the ballpark, the World Series was postponed for 12 days to allow for inspections for safety reasons. After resuming in game 3, the Athletics picked up where they left off by beating the Giants 13-7. Oakland completed the skunk, with a 9-6 victory in game 4.

The MVP was Athletic pitcher Dave Stewart.

His record 3582 wins, will most likely go untouched. Weaver of the Orioles, along with Martin and Williams of numerous teams, did not manage until almost 20 years after Mack's retirement.
9. Cincinnati Reds great Johnny Bench, won how many Rookie of the Year Awards, during his 17 season career?
