Kevin was in his ninth season with the Timberwolves in '03-'04. He averaged 24.2 ppg with 1987 points in all 82 games. Garnett, a reliable player had missed only three games total in his five previous seasons.

Answer: Moses Malone

Malone's greatest seasons and there were many, ranged from 445 offensive grabs up to 587 in the 1978-79 season with the Houston Rockets. Moses played with eight teams during his 19 seasons in basketball. He is a member of the Hall of Fame.

The others had not started their NBA careers yet. Although Chocolate Thunder as he was nicknamed averaged 16.8 ppg with 136 blocks in 1983, he broke his 379 personal foul mark with 386 new ones. Dawkins was a New Jersey Net at the time, and retired with the Pistons after the '88-'89 season.
7. Phil Jackson took the reins of the Chicago Bulls in 1989. How many seasons did he coach the team before he won a Coach of the Year Award?

Answer: 7

Starting off with a 59-27 record in the 1989-90 season, he continued to improve on it in every season with the exception of a 47-35 record, but still nothing to sneeze at. It would take seven seasons and a record-setting 72-10 in the 1995-96 season before Phil was recognized for his greatness.

He went to the Lakers in 1999 with pretty much the same winning results, but did not win another award.
8. Which Laker retired with the most rebounds grabbed in a Laker uniform?

Answer: Elgin Baylor

Of those listed, only Baylor spent his entire career with the Lakers. The 14-season Hall of Famer pulled down 11,463 rebounds for the team. Elgin took off his number 22 jersey and retired in 1972. Although Chamberlain retired with almost 24,000 rebounds, only 6524 were as a Laker. Abdul-Jabbar had 10,279 in the purple and gold.

Answer: Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard came from Southwest Christian Academy in Georgia.

The others played for the East. Shaq scored 24 points with 11 rebounds in only 24 minutes of play, representing his Lakers for the West team.
