In "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered" Dru fell under the love spell and actually saved Xander right out of the clutches of Angelus. Of course, she was disappointed when she couldn't follow him back into Buffy's house because she was never invited inside.

She also saved Giles from Angelus in season 2, but from being tortured instead of killed. Spike suggested Dru read Giles' mind for answers to the whole Acathla dilemma.
