Answer: Philip Amelio

Amelio was cast as a young Scott Chandler in 1988. Scott was adopted by Stuart Chandler, as a young boy, when his biological parents died. On April 1st, 2005 Amelio died at his home in Schenectady, New York at the age of 27.

Answer: Fred Parker

Scott was the biological son of Fred and Cindy Parker. However, Scott did not get to know his biological parents, for that long, since they died of complications from AIDS when he was a little boy. When Scott returned to town in 1995, he went to Cindy's grave to pay his respects to his deceased mother.

Mayfield came to "AMC", on the above date, as a recast Scott Chandler. On Scott's first day back in Pine Valley, in April of 2009, he was at ConFusion and punched JR Chandler in the face. Cosgrove was the fourth actor to portray Scott Chandler and he was in the role from November of 1996 until late 1998. Gillian was about to be deported so she asked Scott to marry her so she could stay in the country. Scott agreed to marry her but, on their wedding day, Ryan Lavery interrupted the nuptials and Gillian married Ryan, not Scott. Cosgrove was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2008 for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his role of Bill Lewis on the CBS soap opera, "Guiding Light." He lost the Emmy to Kristoff St. John of "The Young and the Restless." Other Daytime Emmy nominees for Outstanding Supporting Actor that year were Trent Dawson of "As The World Turns", Brian Kerwin of "One Life to Live", and Greg Rikaart of "The Young and the Restless."

Scott had an interest in working in the entertainment industry and thought that interning at the Pine Valley TV station, WRCW, would help him out. Liza Colby hired him, as an intern, and Scott learned a lot about producing when he worked at WRCW. While he interned at WRCW, his old college flame, Greenlee Smythe, came to town to see if she could become Scott's girlfriend again but Scott was interested in Becca Tyree.

Scott wanted to get back at Becca since they were dating but she was also interested in Leo DuPres. Scott decided to create a website called Virgin Victor, which allowed online users to make bets and predictions on when Becca would lose her virginity. Leo found out that Scott created the website and told Becca about it. Becca broke up with Scott and Scott left town shortly after the breakup.

Scott decided to come to Pine Valley to see if he can get his uncle, Adam Chandler, to help bring a heart valve to the market through Chandler Enterprises. Scott made contact with a doctor named Dr. Chapell, who wanted to put a new heart valve on the market. Scott wanted this valve to save lives and saw the potential for Chandler Enterprises to get good press.

The heart valve was used on Ian Slater but Dr. Chapell notified Scott, in the middle of Ian's surgery, that the valve was defective (David Hayward fixed the valve in time for the surgery).

The next time we saw Dr. Chapell, he had hung himself in his room at the Valley Inn. Scott was the first one to see Dr. Chapell's dead body and it was ruled a suicide.
