Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the most invaded planet in the galaxy?

Answer: Tivoli

Their anthem is "Glory To (Insert Name Here)" and their cities are designed to be comfortable for the invading armies.
2. The Doctor and Martha are watching what play in "The Shakespeare Code"?

Answer: Love's Labour's Lost

This is the second episode to feature Martha!
3. In "The Time of Angels", the Doctor mentions that he's on what famous person's bowling team?

Answer: Virginia Woolf's

This is the third episode (second story) to feature River Song. The first being "Silence in the Library"/"Forest of the Dead".
4. What is/are River's last word(s) before her death in "Forest of the Dead"?

Answer: Spoilers

The Doctor: "You can let me do this!"
River: "If you die here, it'll mean I've never met you!"
The Doctor: "Time can be rewritten!"
River: "Not those times. Not one line! Don't you dare! It's okay. It's okay, it's not over for you. You'll see me again. You've got all of that to come. You and me, time and space. You watch us run!"
The Doctor: "River, you know my name. You whispered my name in my ear! There's only one reason I would ever tell anyone my name. There's only one time I could."
River: "Hush, now - spoilers."
5. What were Peter Capaldi's first words in "Doctor Who"?

Answer: Modern art

Peter Capaldi's first appearance was not in "The Time of the Doctor" as most think but was in the episode "The Fires of Pompeii" where he played Lobus Caecilius a marble sculptor. He also appeared very briefly in the 50th anniversary episode "The Day of the Doctor".
6. Which creature had a hindbrain?

Answer: The Ood

The Ood have two brains: a forebrain in the head and a secondary hindbrain. The hindbrain is usually held in their hands, and is connected by an umbilical cord-like connection to their faces. The forebrain does much of the thinking and stores the telepathic sensors.

The hindbrain processes memory and emotions, leading to mental instabilities when removed. The Ood can survive with it being removed and replaced with the more commonly seen translation sphere that connects to an Ood's nervous system.
7. What message does the Face of Boe give the Doctor in the episode "Gridlock"?

Answer: You are not alone

The phrase "you are not alone" is to help the Doctor realize who Professor Yana is (the Master). We find out later in the season that Captain Jack Harkness is (supposedly) the Face of Boe so this also kind of works as a reference that we will be seeing Jack in the future.
8. When did the Doctor say "I will always remember when the Doctor was me"?

Answer: The Time Of The Doctor

This is part of Matt Smith's farewell speak during the 2013 Christmas Special.

Doctor: "It all just disappears, doesn't it? Everything you are, gone in a moment, like breath on a mirror. Any moment now, he's a-coming."
Clara: "Who's coming?"
Doctor: "The Doctor."
Clara: "But you, you are the Doctor."
Doctor: "Yep, and I always will be. But times change, and so must I. Amelia?
Clara: "Who's Amelia?"
Doctor: "The first face this face saw. We all change, when you think about it. We're all different people all through our lives. And that's okay, that's good, you've got to keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be. I will not forget one line of this. Not one day. I swear. I will always remember when the Doctor was me."
Amy: "Raggedy man. Good night."
9. Which fruit do both the 10th (David Tennant) and 12th (Peter Capaldi) Doctors say not to eat?

Answer: Pears

David Tennant: "And 5! Very important, 5! Don't let me eat pears. I hate pears. John Smith is a character I made up, but I won't know that. I'll think I am him, and he might do something stupid like eat a pear. I don't want to wake up in three months and taste that... Seven. I'm sitting in the TARDIS now, and I'm going to wind up soon, but not before I make a few strange noises with my mouth that will go somewhere along the lines of: bingle bongle, dingle dangle, yikkity do, yikkity da, ping pong, lippy tappy too ta."

Peter Capaldi: "Never eat pears. They're too squishy and they always make your chin wet. That one's quite important. Write it down."
10. Which Queen of England does the Doctor suggest was infected by werewolves?

Answer: Victoria

During the episode "Tooth and Claw," Queen Victoria is seen to have a scratch from what she says is from wooden splinters from the door busting open. The Doctor and Rose however theorize that she was scratched by the werewolf, and that the whole bloodline has been infected.
