It shows Grampa and Jackie Bouvier fleeing the church together a la Benjamin and Elaine in the movie. Incidentally, "The Graduate" is the favourite movie of David Mirkin', who was the show-runner at the time.

3. Which former U.S. Vice President once appeared on an alarm clock in an episode?

Answer: Spiro Agnew

This was a funny gag from the season seven episode, "Mother Simpson". Agnew served as Vice President under Richard Nixon from 1969-1973.

Gerald Ford had a more prominent role in the episode "Two Bad Neighbors", where he moved in across the street from the Simpsons.
