1. Timothy Patrick Murphy played Ray's cousin Mickey Trotter.

Answer: True

Tim Murphy played the obstinate Mickey, son of Amos Krebbs' sister. Mickey and Ray were not actually related at all, since Amos was not really Ray's father, but Ray considered him as such.
Murphy passed away in 1988 of AIDS. You may have seen him in small roles on "The Love Boat", "Chips", and "Hotel".

2. How much time did Jock's will state Bobby and JR had to prove their leadership of Ewing Oil?

Answer: 12 months

Jock's will stated the boys each had 12 months to use exactly half of Ewing Oil assets to make a profit. Whomever had the bigger financial gain would become the head of the company.

The will also gave Ray and Gary each a $10 million lump sum, but Gary's portion had a stipulation to prevent him from using it unwisely.

Answer: Annie

Annie was played by Fay Hauser. Annie was seen in only three episodes, but Fay had many small roles in various TV shows. Among them are "TJ Hooker", "The Love Boat", "Taxi", "Good Times", Magnum PI", "21 Jumpstreet", and "The District".

JR found out that Walt's new young wife had a problem driving and set up a fake hit and run. When JR was able to talk the police out of pressing charges, he blackmailed Walt into granting his variance. Walt left town immediately, as the variance was a violation of The OLM (Office of Land Management).
Ben Piazza played Walt Driscoll in eleven episodes of season six.

He was also on "Dynasty" and "Santa Barbara" for a short time. He died in 1991 of cancer.

5. How did Cliff beat JR out of the refinery deal with Gil Thurman?

Answer: Afton slept with Gil

JR was pumping his half of the Ewing wells to capacity and desperately needed a storage facility, so he set up a dinner with Gil, Sue Ellen and himself. Sue Ellen was left alone with Gil for an hour and Gil wanted her to sleep with him. When she refused, he was no longer interested in selling to JR. Cliff got the deal made after that, because Afton did give Gil the fringe benefits he wanted.

This was also the title of that episode, "Fringe Benefits".

6. Who is the first man Miss Ellie dates after legally declaring Jock dead?

Answer: Frank Crutcher

Dale Robertson played Frank in 5 "Dallas" episodes. Dale also starred on "Dynasty" in 1981. Howard Keel is the actor that played Clayton Farlow. After being rebuffed by Sue Ellen, Clayton does eventually fall for Miss Ellie. Keel played Clayton for 10 years.

7. Who were the two men from Canada, trying to make a deal for crude oil with both Bobby and Cliff?

Answer: Thornton and Jarrett McLeish

Thornton and Jarrett McLeish were played by Kenneth Kimmins and J. Patrick McNamara. They went to Cliff after Bobby, because Bobby was leary of the amount of time it would take to get the oil and make the promised 500 percent profit. Bobby did not want JR to inherit such a rich oil reserve if it went past the one year deadline.

In the end Pam helped Bobby land the deal, and though she was unaware of Cliff's interest, he blamed her for going against him.

8. After last seeing Cliff's sister Katherine in season five's "The Investigation", do we see her return in season six?

Answer: Yes

Katherine Wentworth returns in the season six episode "Requiem". Morgan Brittany plays the part of Katherine, and later goes on to kill Bobby, so to speak.

John Larroquette also played a lawyer for many season on "Night Court". In 2003 he started a new sitcom with Christine Baranksi called "Happy Family".

Dave was the former step-son of Donna Culver Krebbs, and a politician like his father Sam. Tom was also seen in the TV movie "V", "The Young and the Restless", "Mac and Me", and all three prime time soaps "Falcon Crest", "Knots Landing" and "The Colbys". Tom passed away in 1993.
