Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. For Rick's group, the Greene Family Farm served as a base for which activity?

Answer: The search for Sophia

After abandoning the Atlanta Survivor Camp, Rick's group headed to the CDC, which they fled prior to destruction. While they were stopped on the road, Sophia was chased away by a walker. Rick went after her but left her in a clearing under a tree to fight off walkers, and then they couldn't find her. Meanwhile, Carl was shot by a farmhand who was hunting a deer. The farm hand, Otis, brought him back to the Greene family farm for treatment.

Rick's group settled at the Greene Family Farm while Carl healed from his gunshot wound and Daryl and other members of the group searched for Carol's missing daughter, Sophia. At this point, they had not yet encountered the Governor or Terminus and had no plan for establishing a more permanent camp. Daryl had also given up his search for Merle.
2. Who shows up on a horse to bring Lori to the Greene Family Farm after Carl is shot?

Answer: Maggie

Maggie was sent to fetch Lori once Carl was at the farm and receiving treatment. She thundered in on her horse. "All I know is this chick rode out of nowhere like Zorro on a horse and took Lori," Glenn later explained to Dale.
3. Not counting flashbacks, how many episodes of "The Walking Dead" take place at least partially on the Greene Family Farm?

Answer: 12

The farm featured in twelve episodes of season 2, starting with "Bloodletting" and ending with "Beside the Dying Fire." It later appeared in flashbacks in season 3 and season 7 and in Rick's hallucination in season 9.
4. Which of these two people are kept as walkers in the barn on the Greene family farm?

Answer: Annette and Shawn Greene

Hershel, his two daughters Beth and Maggie (who are half siblings), Beth's boyfriend Jimmy, and farmhands Patricia and Otis are living on the farm when Rick's group arrives. Unbeknownst to them, the Greene family barn is full of walkers, among them Hershel's late second wife (and Beth's mother) Annette and her son Shawn. Also among the walkers is Carol's daughter Sophia, though she will not learn that until some time after settling on the farm.
5. What color is the main house on the Greene Family Farm?

Answer: White

The house is painted white and rises two stories with a wrap-around front porch, a balcony on the second story, and three chimneys. The farm had been in the Greene Family for over 160 years at the start of the apocalypse.
6. Which of these is NOT an advantage of the Greene Family Farm as a camp?

Answer: It has solar panels on the roof that power the entire house

The farm does not have solar power. It does have a generator that runs on fuel, however, but fuel will eventually spoil. In addition to the five wells, it has a fresh water creek nearby. The farm had, at one time, fifty heads of cattle and was relatively free of walkers because of its distance from population centers.
7. Which of these women NEVER lived on the Greene Family Farm?

Answer: Tara

Tara didn't join the group until season 4. The Greene Family Farm camp included the following women: Maggie, Beth, Carol, Andrea, Patricia, and Lori.
8. Which of these men NEVER lived on the Greene Family Farm?

Answer: Tyreese and Bob

Tyreese didn't discover the group until season 3, after they were no longer living on the farm. Bob was introduced in season 4. The Greene Family Farm camp included the following men and male youths: Rick, Shane, Dale, Daryl, T-Dog, Glenn, Otis, Hershel, Jimmy, and Carl.
9. How was the Greene Family Farm destroyed?

Answer: It was overrun by walkers and burned to the ground

The group abandoned the farm when walkers overran it and it caught on fire. They barely escaped with their lives. Some did die - including Patricia and Jimmy, and Andrea was separated from the group.
10. In Season 3, to whom does Andrea give the location of the farm?

Answer: Merle

Merle, who is working for the Governor of Woodbury, happens upon Andrea and takes her back to Woodbury. He wants to know what happened to his brother Daryl. Not yet knowing Daryl and the others have settled at the prison, Andrea tells Merle the location of the farm, their last camp, so he can begin his search there.
