Answer: Alpha

Alpha is the brutal leader of "The Whisperers" and mother to Lydia. When her borders are crossed, she marks them with the heads of several victims of the Hilltop, Oceanside, the Kingdom, and Alexandria, including that of Carol's adopted son Henry.

Tomas is one of the prisoners that the group finds when clearing the prison to make a camp there. While they originally let the prisoners live cordoned off in their own cell block, Tomas becomes dangerous, and Rick eventually kills him. One of the prisoners, Axel, ends up joining Rick's group, though he is later killed by the Governor.

The Governor, the leader of Woodbury, orders an attack on the prison, which causes walkers to flood inside. In the tumult, the group is separated. Some escape in the prison bus while others flee on foot. The Governor nearly strangles Rick in an ensuing battle, but he's stopped by Michonne, who stabs him with her katana and leaves him for dead. Finally, Lily Chambler shoots him in the head.

Answer: Negan

Negan is the leader the Saviors, and he extorts other camps by threating violence if they don't pay him a portion of their goods. When they stop paying, he has a member of their camps killed. He uses his baseball bat, whom he's named Lucille, to brain to death Abraham and Glenn. Eventually, however, Negan is defeated and ends up in the prison cell once welded by Morgan.

Answer: Simon

The head of the Savior's Satellite Outpost, Simon, orders all men and boys over the age of ten to be killed in a non-compliant camp. The surviving women and children hide and form the community of Oceanside. Simon later has all of the Scavengers gunned down against Negan's wishes.

When Simon tries to take over the Saviors in a coup, Negan challenges him to a fight, during which Negan strangles Simon to death.

Answer: Beta

In his fight with Beta, Daryl is outmatched in terms of size, but he manages to trick Beta into looking down an open elevator shaft. At that point, Daryl crawls from his hiding place under the floor, runs, and shoves Beta down the open shaft. Beta miraculously survives the fall, but Daryl lives to fight another day.

Years after Negan's defeat, Jed leads a group of ex-Saviors who have turned to raiding to survive. In season 9, episode 6 ("Who Are You Now?"), he makes the mistake of robbing Carol and stealing her ring. By night, she finds his camp and sets them all on fire.

Answer: Gregory

Gregory is ultimately hanged by Daryl Dixon on Maggie's command for his attempts to assassinate her. He meets his death, ironically, in the episode titled, "A New Beginning."

Introduced in season 5, Ron Anderson is the son of abusive father Pete Anderson. He's jealous of Carl, whom he thinks is stealing his girlfriend, and angry at Rick, who killed his father. In the season 6 episode "No Way Out," Rick tries to lead him and his mother and brother to safety while walkers flood into Alexandria.

As they walk hand in hand, Ron's mother Jessie and brother Sam are devoured by walkers. Because Jessie won't let go of Carl's hand while she's being eaten alive, Rick chops off her arm.

This enrages Ron, who tries to shoot him. Michonne stops him with her katana, at which point he fires blindly and shoots out Carl's eye.

Answer: Dwight

In the woods, Dwight double crosses Daryl and robs him, taking his motorcycle and crossbow. Later he tries to kill Daryl, but ends up shooting Denise instead. However, he becomes an informant during the war between the Saviors and Rick's group, and, in the end, Daryl declines to seek revenge against him. He lets him go free, telling him never to show his face again.

Answer: Gareth

Gareth is the leader of Terminus. While Terminus originally serves as a sanctuary, it is attacked by bandits who imprison, abuse, and rape its inhabitants. One day, the Terminus victims manage to gain the upper hand over their captors. At that point, they determine never to be victims again and instead begin killing and eating all those who seek sanctuary at Terminus.

Answer: Shane

King County Deputy Shane Walsh is Rick's best friend, but he falls in love with Rick's wife Lori. Jealous of Rick, and certain that the man can't protect Lori and Carl, Shane attempts to kill Rick. Rick ends up stabbing Shane in the heart, but it is Carl who shoots his re-animated walker corpse.

Answer: Owen

Owen is the leader of The Wolves, who bust through the fences of Alexandria and start raiding the place. Carol dresses like them, puts a W on her forehead, and infiltrates them to kill them. Owen saves Denise's life, which she sees as a mark of his redemption, but Carol shoots him in the head.

Answer: Pete

Husband of Jesse Anderson and father of Ron and Sam, Pete Anderson is Alexandria's town surgeon and doctor. Jealous of Rick, he seizes Michonne's katana and confronts him in public. When Deanna Monroe's husband Reg tries to stop Pete, the doctor accidentally slits his throat. Deanna then gives Rick the order to kill Pete, which he does.

Answer: Joe

Joe is the leader of "The Claimers," a group that Daryl runs with for awhile after the prison collapses and Beth is abducted. But when the Claimers come across Rick, Carl, and Michonne, Daryl offers his life for theirs. The Claimers attempt to take and abuse Carl, however, and Rick ends up biting out Joe's throat to save his son.
