Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How many locations are there in Krem Quay?

Answer: 12

This world has one more level than the previous worlds. There are six levels and a boss, along with the normal five Kong Klan stands. Krem Quay is obviously a swamp themed world.
2. Is there a Krochead in Barrel Bayou?

Answer: Yes

There is a single green Krochead in this level shortly after the first DK Barrel. You may not be able to see it all that well because of the foreground cattails so listen to it rising out of the water. This Krochead lets you get Rambi which will turn into the DK Coin if you get him safely to the No Animal Sign.
3. Is Glimmer's Galleon the only time where Glimmer appears in the whole game?

Answer: No

Glimmer may appear in only one level, but Glimmer also appears in the credits. Glimmer may not do much protecting you from enemies like most of the other animal buddies but he will help you see where you are going in the swampy waters.
4. How many climbable cattails are there in Krochead Klamber?

Answer: 21

In Krochead Klamber you will have to hit barrels with a picture of a Krochead on it to summon them out of the water. There is also one bonus area and a DK Coin to get by starting out by going left instead of right.
5. At the very end of Rattle Battle, there is a barrel with Dixie's picture on it. If you only have Diddy, where is the closest buddy barrel so you can get Dixie?

Answer: shortly after the end target

The buddy barrel after the end target is invisible. There are five buddy barrels in the level. The other one is shortly after Rattly's room. There are three bonus areas and one DK coin hidden among some wreckage shortly before the Save Barrel. Do a mid-air jump by falling off the cliff and jumping when you fall.
6. In Slime Climb, what is the name of the fish that constantly chases after you?

Answer: Snapjaw

Most people think that it is a different species of Lockjaw but in the credits it clearly shows that it is Snapjaw. Snapjaw also appears in Clapper's Cavern in K. Rool's Keep. In order to get one of the Bonus areas and the DK Coin you need to swim in the slime that the Snapjaw resides in.

However, you will find Exclamation Barrels that will make you temporarily invincible and able to obtain the two items.
7. In Bramble Blast, in the third section of barrels, there is a small passageway that will shoot you towards two Blast Cannon barrels. What three items are between these two barrels?

Answer: two banana bunches and a banana coin

Bramble Blast is like a labyrinth, only with barrels. Quite possibly one of the most annoying stages with most barrels only firing in directions you don't want to go. Luckily, there is some relaxing music playing while in this level. There are two bonus areas and a DK Coin to find in this area. If you find Squawks, you'll find the DK Coin and the second bonus area.
8. What is the name of the boss in Krem Quay?

Answer: Kudgel

Kudgel is very similar to Klubba. The main difference between the two is that Klubba is green while Kudgel is gray. Kudgel will try to jump on you, and every time he lands it is essential to jump or else you will get stunned. After every third jump, he will make a small jump to send out a TNT barrel out of the trees.

After three hits, he changes his strategy and starts jumping towards where you are. After he's done jumping at you another TNT barrel will drop out of the trees and you need to hit him with it quickly or else he'll smash it with his large club.
9. How many barrels can be found on the stern side of the sunken ship?

Answer: 5

The stern, or the back of the ship, is on the left side of the screen; there are three barrels on the upper deck and two on the lower deck. This will be the last world that will contain a sunken ship. Gangplank Galleon was a sunken ship; Crocodile Cauldron housed Kong Kollege and Lava Lagoon with a sunken ship; and the majority of Krem Quay is a sunken ship.
10. Near the Monkey Museum, in the overworld map, can a steel keg be found?

Answer: No

Actually, it is more of an oil drum. A steel keg appearing in "Donkey Kong Country," and "Donkey Kong Country 3," are more rounded and less cylindrical. This drum next to the Monkey Museum is purely cylindrical there are several more instances of oil drums in the overworld map.
