The words to this national anthem were written in 1850, but it was only in 1920 that they were put to the music of 'God Save the Queen'. The first words are 'Oben am Jungen Rhein lehnet sich Liechtenstein' (Up above the young Rhine lies Liechtenstein'.

8. Canadians pay federal income tax based on a progressive system, which means, basically, that people who earn more money remit tax to the government at a higher rate. What is it called when high income earners are subjected to a LOWER tax rate?

Answer: Regressive taxation

While many people would be of the opinion that this tax situation is iniquitous, the proper name is 'regressive'. Two benefits of the progressive tax system are equity (placing a higher tax burden on the people better able to afford it) and stability (the government can shift the tax brackets depending on whether the country is experiencing periods of economic recession or expansion).

However, it is not a perfect system. Progressive tax systems tend to discriminate against single-income families (a single income of $80,000 would pay more in taxes than two incomes of $40,000 each) and they also tend to discourage proper income reporting (i.e. tax evasion): there is an incentive to withhold information about cash-only transactions (like tips) to keep oneself in a lower income tax bracket. 10. If a Canadian asked for your help in erecting an Inuksuk, an Inuit cultural symbol, what would you be building?

Answer: a stone cairn

An inuksuk is a stone cairn or marker used by the peoples of the northern regions of North America. The inuksuit may have been used as markers for travel routes, hunting grounds, or camps. The inuksuk has become a symbol of Canada. Inuksuit have been erected across the country, in parks and along roadways, and in backyard gardens.

There is an inuksuk in the Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C., and it was also used in the logo for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
