1. On what continent would you find the Sami people, known for their reindeer herding?

Answer: Europe

The Sami people are indigenous to the Northern parts of Norway, Sweden, and Finland, and the extreme Northwestern part of Russia. Although European, they have in the past been subject to much of the discrimination that indigenous people of other continents experienced.
2. In which region of the world would you find the Chuukese people, known for the Legend of Wonip?

Answer: Oceania

The Chuukese people live in the Federated States of Micronesia. The Legend of Wonip is their folklore regarding how their culture came to be. They are also known for priding work ethic over looks.
3. On what continent would you find the Guarani people, known for living in an area across five different countries?

Answer: South America

The Guarani people are native to Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia. The words tapioca, toucan, and jaguar come from the Guarani language.

Answer: Asia

The Vietnam War threatened the Ruc homeland in North Vietnam, so they felt forced to adapt to modern civilization. Unfortunately, tensions between the Ruc and the communists of North Vietnam caused the groups to hate each other.

The Ramapough Mountain people popped out of the forest not far from New York City in the 1790s, after Europeans thought they had documented all surviving tribes east of the Mississippi.

The Yapese coinhabit the Federated States of Micronesia with the Chuukese people. The stone money is still used today for ceremonial purposes, however the United States Dollar is the primary currency used in the Yapese Lands of the Federated States of Micronesia.

Answer: Africa

The Igbo, the Yoruba, and the Hausa-Fulani all inhabit Nigeria, an extremely culturally, ethnically, and linguistically diverse country. The Igbo and Yoruba live in the Christian South part of Nigeria, while the Hausa-Fulani inhabit the Islamic Northern part of Nigeria.
8. The Uyghurs live in a semi-autonomous republic in the central part of what continent?

Answer: Asia

The Xinjiang Province in the extreme Western part of China also goes by the name of the 'Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region'. It follows the same time zone as the more densely populated Eastern part of China, which is due to the Chinese government's dislike of western ethnic groups such as the Uyghurs.
9. On which of these continents would you NOT find Yupiks, known for being one of the few ethnic groups to be indigneous to more than one continent?

Answer: South America

Yupiks inhabit both the far east of Russia and some parts of Alaska. They were split back when the first people reached the Americas through the land bridge, and are now split into three subgroups today, two living in Alaska and one living in Russia. Another ethnic group that is indigenous to more than one continent is Arabs, who are indigenous to Asia and Africa.
10. On which continent will you find the Berber people who inhabit the Atlas mountains?

Answer: Africa

The Atlas mountains stretch across Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia. The Berbers are the primary inhabitants of this region. The highest peak is Toubkal which is over 13,000 feet high.
