Martin van Buren's first language was Dutch. He was bought up in Kinderhook, New York, a primarily Dutch community. He learned English as a second language while attending the local school. James Polk earned honours in his degree in Greek and Latin. Adams attended school in France and The Netherlands and became proficient at both languages.

Harrison, Grant, Hayes, Garfield, McKinley, Taft, and Harding were all born in Ohio. Maybe that is the reason that Ohio is sometimes referred to as "The Mother of Presidents".

William H. Harrison saw combat in the Northwest Indian War and the War of 1812.
Harry S. Truman saw action in WWI

"The President's Lady",(1953) was a biographical film of the life of President Jackson and his marriage to Rachel Donelson Robards played by Susan Hayward.
"The Buccaneer",1958)takes place during the War of 1812. It was a remake of the 1938 film of the same name. Interestingly, it was the only film that Anthony Quinn ever Directed.
The most popular US President to be portrayed on the silver screen is Abraham Lincoln with at least 18 different actors playing the role.

Tyler was admitted to the bar at 19 because the judge who administered the bar exam had neglected to inquire about Tyler's age. The young Tyler started a practice in Richmond, Virginia.
Van Buren (21 years), Fillmore (23 years) and Polk (25 years) were also lawyers and admitted to the bar, but in their twenties.

image emblematic of Liberty. To be so honoured bearing the first spouse of a president in this program requires an Act of Congress.

The three are in California, Missouri and Pennsylvania.
In California it was founded and chartered in 1926. It initially started out in 1919 as a law study program for returning WWI veterans, however, the program developed and became a university in 1926.
In Missouri it was actually founded in 1866 by members of the 62nd and 65th US Coloured Infantry under the name Lincoln Institute. In 1921 it was officially designated a university by the State of Missouri.
in Pennsylvania it started out in 1854 as the Ashmun Institute but was renamed Lincoln University after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
There is a Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee.
