1. This university is generally considered by many to be the very first university in the world. Established in the 5th century B.C, which university are we talking about?

Answer: Nalanda University, India

The Nalanda University was founded around 5th century BC and was an ancient seat of higher learning attracting Buddhist scholars from around the world. The famous scholar Huen Tsang stayed and studied here in the 7th century AD. The university had close to 2,000 teachers and a student strength of more than 10,000 at its peak.

The Nanjing University was founded around 250 AD while the University of Bologna was founded in 1088. Oxford was founded about the year 1096 AD.
2. The University of Vlora is one of only four universities in this small European nation. Which country is this university located in?

The other four universities in Albania are the Polytechnic University of Tirana, University of Elbasan "Aleksander Xhuvani" and the University of Tirana.

Established as the Mohammedan Anglo Oriental College in 1875, it was elevated to the status of a university in 1920 by an Act of the Indian Legislative Council. The AMU is one of the major universities in India today with over 30,000 students.
