The most popular candy in China does not even contain chocolate. White Rabbit creamy candy looks and tastes like a tootsie roll with a vanilla flavor instead of chocolate. Its major ingredient is powered milk.
2. Cadbury Dairy Milk

Mondelez South Africa is the largest confectionery business in South Africa. Their flagship brand is Cadbury Dairy Milk.

In 1824, John Cadbury opened a grocer's shop in Bull Street, Birmingham. He sold cocoa and drinking chocolate, and it became very popular. So, in 1831, he bought a warehouse and started manufacturing, with help from his sons. Soon after, in 1847, they moved to a larger factory. John retired in 1861, and his sons took over the business.

Then a new and innovative coco press was invented. In 1878 a new and bigger factory was built on 14 -plus acres south of Birmingham at a site the Cadbury brothers named Bournville. The site contained housing for the employees, playgrounds. camps, fields for cricket and football, tennis courts and swimming pools. Worker's facilities like these were unheard of in Victorian times. Cadbury became one of the first firms to introduce a Saturday half-day off work.

4. Finland

The idea for the product originated in America. Initially called Daim, a Norwegian phonetic for "dime", it changed to Daim in 1990. A Daim bar is a Swedish chocolate bar made from crunchy almond caramel covered in milk chocolate. The only Daim plant in the world is near Stockholm, Sweden.

Paleta Payaso is a long-standing favorite in Mexico. It's made with a milk chocolate coating with marshmallow inside and a hint of a cherry at the center.

First marketed in Chicago in 1930, the original candy bar sold for 5 cents. The name "Snickers" allegedly came from a horse.

The number one selling candy bar in France is typically "Kinder Bueno". It is popular in France for its smooth chocolate, crispy wafer, and creamy hazelnut filling.
