Traditionally black pudding was made from sheep or cow blood but in modern times pig blood has become the main ingredient. Along with pig blood black pudding also contains added animal fat and a form of cereal crop, commonly oats or barley, it can also be flavoured with herbs. Black pudding is most commonly eaten in the UK as an accompaniment to the cooked breakfast dish commonly called a 'full English'.

It's true, blue cheese gets its famous blue coloured veins due to mold. Blue cheese is made by adding spores from a mold of the penicillium genus during manufacture, this is the same genus of mold from which the antibiotic penicillin was developed. There are many types of blue cheese made throughout the world but some of the most famous are Gorgonzola from Italy, Stilton from England and Roquefort from France.

Kopi luwak is a type of coffee made from partially digested coffee beans which have been collected from the droppings of the Asian palm civet. During the digestive process the beans are partially fermented which influences the taste of the coffee. The beans used to be collected in the wild but more recently have been obtained from farmed civets which has led to animal welfare concerns over the conditions the animals are kept in and that they are being force fed to produce more coffee.
