Answer: Fenway Park

The oldest Major League park in 2004 and home to the Red Sox, had been the site of eight World Series, including the 2004, and three All-Star Games. Their first World Series was in 1912 and the Sox were champions. Also, in 1912, the Red Sox, Tris speaker was named the Amercan League MVP. The 'Green Monster' came later.

Answer: Wrigley Field

Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, was the last Major League park to get lights.
3. Which ballpark was Bill Buckner playing in when he missed a grounder in the World Series?

Answer: Shea Stadium

In the 10th inning of game six with two outs, a runner on third base and the score tied, Mookie Wilson hit a grounder at Buckner who was playing first base for Boston. The ball went between Buckner's legs. The Mets scored and went on to win game six. The N.Y. Mets became the 1986 World Champions when they won the next game.

This park was the home to the Pittsburgh Pirates as well as the Steelers. Three Rivers had two World Series, 1971 and 1979, as well as two All-Star Games in 1974 and 1994. Three Rivers was demolished in 2000 and was replaced by PNC Park. Three Rivers was called a "cookie-cutter" stadium because of the way it looked.

It was one of three stadiums that was round, tall and used for both football and baseball. It's shape gave it it's cookie-cutter name. The other two were River Front Stadium in Cincinnati and Veteran's Stadium in Philadelphia. All have been replaced with state of the art ballparks.
