1. New Zealand play home tests at a number of stadiums. In which city is the main rugby union venue known as Eden Park?

Answer: Auckland

Eden Park is located in New Zealand's biggest city, Auckland. Opened in 1900, it has the biggest capacity of any stadium in the country, and hosts cricket tests as well as rugby matches. The normal capacity is 50,000, but can be expanded to 60,000 with temporary seating.
2. Scotland's home rugby union venue, Murrayfield, is located in which city?

Answer: Edinburgh

Scotland originally played home tests elsewhere in Edinburgh, at Inverleith, before Murrayfield Stadium was opened in 1925. Crowds of over 100,000 were seen there before it was redeveloped into an all-seater stadium in the late 1990s, with a capacity of 67,144.
3. What is the non-corporate name of the home of Irish rugby in Dublin?

Answer: Lansdowne Road

A new stadium opened in 2010 on the site of the old Lansdowne Road ground. It is home to Ireland's home international soccer matches as well as rugby. The capacity of the new stadium was 51,700. The new ground was called the Aviva Stadium when it first opened following a sponsorship deal, but the old Lansdowne Road moniker is still in use .

Loftus Versfeld, in the administrative capital of South Africa, Pretoria, was opened in 1923. It is home to the Blue Bulls of the United Rugby Championship, as well as being a regular venue for South Africa home games. Its capcity is around 52,000.

In the late 1990s the old ground was deemed too small and the facilities insufficient for the modern game, so the new Millennium Stadium was built mainly on the same site, with a new facility for Cardiff RFC built next door.
