Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Krusty Burger
Answer: The Simpsons
'The Simpsons' took over the 'Fortnite' universe in November 2025 and the map was transformed into a well-observed representation of Springfield, with a statue of its founder, Jebediah Springfield, at its heart.
References to Krusty the Clown were scattered all about town, be it in the physical form of Krusty himself, the rather miserable location of Kamp Krusty or by way of the consumable, the Krusty Burger. The Krusty Burger was easy to obtain and gobbling down this hamburger would aid a player in replenishing both their health and shield statistics.
2. Mira's X-tra Spicy Ramyeon
Answer: KPop Demon Hunters
It is only since Chapter 6 (December 2024 - November 2025) that Epic Games have really become active in the creation of themed consumables (in this context, objects that when eaten provide health, shield or a power modification). One such example is Mira's X-tra Spicy Ramyeon, a consumable inspired by the game's collaboration with Netflix and their movie, 'KPop Demon Hunters'.
KPop (or K-Pop) is an abbreviated form of "Korean Pop" and ramyeon is the Korean version of the similar - but different - offering from Japan, ramen. In the game, consuming Mira's X-tra Spicy Ramyeon (speedily with chopsticks) would improve a player's health statistic whilst providing a speed boost. To emphasise just how spicy the ramyeon is, steam would blow out from the ears of any character that consumed the tub of noodles!
3. Scooby Snacks
Answer: Scooby-Doo
'Fortnite' collaborated with 'Scooby-Doo' to bring players a spooky gaming experience for Halloween 2025. The mashup included the main characters from the classic cartoon - including Shaggy and Scooby-Doo himself - and they played a role in a number of fun quests dotted around the map.
A number of items were introduced as part of this collaboration with Scooby Snacks featuring as a key consumable. Alongside its healing property, eating the snack induces the "slap effect" (10 seconds of full, non-reducing stamina to permit maximum sprint capability).
4. Shield Mushroom
Answer: 'Fortnite' (No Collaboration)
Mushrooms form part of the basic collection of consumables in 'Fortnite' and can mainly be found by rummaging through a Produce Box, consumable containers that are liberally scattered across the map.
One such example is the Shield Mushroom, a blue and white fungus that boosts a player's shield statistic by five percentage points. There is a more powerful, much rarer, variant of the Shield Mushroom which is known as the Golden Truffle but this item has spent most of its existence "in the vault" (that is, it doesn't appear in the canonical set of game modes, Battle Royale in particular). There is however always the possibility that any vaulted item could make a reappearance if the game designers make it so!
5. Pickle Rick
Answer: Rick and Morty
Pickle Rick is a rather ugly piece of back bling from 2022 that forms part of the Rick, C-137 set, a collection of items relating to the American science fiction animated television series, 'Rick and Morty'. Pickle Rick is derived from a relatively famous episode of the third season of the animation in which Rick goes through the hassle of turning himself into a pickle so that he can evade a therapy session; spoiler - he ends up in the sewers!
6. Flying Burger
Answer: Bob's Burgers
The Flying Burger is a piece of back bling that has been literally interpreted - it really is a cheeseburger with wings! It was released in June 2025 as part of the 'Bob's Burgers' set.
'Bob's Burgers' is an American animation that features the exploits of a fast-food restaurant owner, Bob Belcher, and his family. The literal interpretation of the Flying Burger back bling is not down to a lack of imagination on the part of the game designers, rather it is a faithful recreation of a piece of art hanging in Belcher's burger joint.
It was also possible to obtain a Bob Belcher outfit (a skin, in 'Fortnite' parlance) as part of the set.
7. The Giant Chicken
Answer: Family Guy
The 'Family Guy' set was released in stages between late 2023 and early 2024; a number of skins featured in this set including Peter, the patriarch of the Griffin family, and his neighbour, Cleveland Brown. If food-related cosmetics are more your thing however, you would have targeted acquisition of the outfit for The Giant Chicken, the belligerent bird that is aptly described in-game as "always ready for another fight".
This refers to the television show, where Peter Griffin and The Giant Chicken (Ernie) are regularly seen fighting one another.
8. Waffle Extravaganza
Answer: Stranger Things
In Chapter 4, 'Fortnite' collaborated with the hit show, 'Stranger Things'. A number of creative items were introduced as part of the set but one of the food-based items, the Waffle Extravaganza, came in the form of back bling ('Fortnite'-speak for accessories worn on a player's back).
This item tapped into the Eggo craze that surrounds the show due to a triple-decker waffle dish being a visible favourite of the character, Eleven.
9. Super Squishee
Answer: The Simpsons
The Super Squishee made an appearance in the mini-season which saw 'The Simpsons' come to town. As well as being able to find these syrup-based beverages in chests, it was possible to purchase a Super Squishee from machines at the Kwik-E-Mart, the "always open" shop run by Apu.
In 'The Simpsons', slurping a Squishee led to characters hallucinating; in a nod to this, player's consuming the drink would experience an on-screen hallucination (camera shaking and vision blurring around the edges of the screen) if they remained idle.
10. Slurp Juice
Answer: 'Fortnite' (No Collaboration)
Jars of Slurp Juice can be found in both Epic and Legendary varieties and they have been a mainstay since the first chapter of 'Fortnite'. They provide a significant, staggered health boost, with a player's health and shield statistics increasing by a set increment every second for a defined period.
This incremental approach makes a jar of Slurp Juice very handy to have in your possession towards the end game when being stranded in a storm is more likely. Storm damage decreases a player's vital statistics on a second-by-second basis and the Slurp Juice provides the most effective means of counteracting that damage.
