Kicks were officially launched by 'Fortnite' in 2024 and it is the cosmetic category that covers footwear. Since 2024, the game has collaborated with a number of companies to bring real world shoe styles into the virtual 'Fortnite' universe. Nike - often stylised NIKE in-game - has made a large number of shoes available for players to purchase from the Item Shop, including the Air Max 90 'Infrared', a style that has remained popular despite a number of name changes since its initial real world release in 1990.
2. Crocs Classic Glitter Clog
Answer: Kicks
Crocs, manufactured by Crocs Inc., are the humorously divisive footwear made out of a proprietary, trademarked foam (Croslite). The company curiously refer to these shoes as "clogs" but this seems more of a marketing ploy than a commitment to accuracy given the lack of wood contained in the product! 'Fortnite' has embraced Crocs and they are one of the brands of Kicks available in-game. For those who prefer their Crocs to be themed, perhaps the Croc Classic Clog 'Star Wars Grogu' may be more to your taste?
And no, I have never worn Crocs! Not even the glitter ones.
3. Adidas Samba OG
Answer: Kicks
Adidas AG, or Adidas for short, is a German sportswear company that takes its name from a contraction of its founder's name, Adolf "Adi" Dassler (when written like that, it looks like a FunTrivia hidden words clue). The company has developed quite the back catalogue of shoe styles including the Samba OG, with the OG referencing the fact that the style is a revamp of the "original" Samba that was released by Adidas back in the company's early years.
The Adidas Samba OG Kicks in black were made available for purchase from the 'Fortnite' Item Shop in February 2025.
4. Converse Chuck 70 Low 'Cold Stare'
Answer: Kicks
The Converse brand has its origins in the US state of Massachussetts, where the company, then known as Converse Rubber Shoe Company, began trading in 1908. Just shy of 120 years later, digital versions of Converse shoes were first made available for purchase from the 'Fortnite' Item Shop.
The Converse Chuck 70 Low portion of the name references that the shoe sits low on the ankle (compared to the higher rising cut present in the Hi style) and 'Cold Stare' is a reference to the dark blue colour of these particular Kicks.
5. Tactical Satchel
Answer: Back Bling
The Tactical Satchel has a rather appealing aesthetic and has been made available in a number of different colours over the years ranging from standard yellow, grey and brown through to more exotic hues such as avocado, mint and lime. The Tactical Satchel, inspired by military accoutrements, is branded by 'Fortnite' as being the ideal way to access "munitions on the go". As a fairly basic offering, when the Tactical Satchel has been made available in the 'Fortnite' Item Shop, the V-Bucks price has typically been low.
Back Bling is the name given by 'Fortnite' to cosmetics worn on the back.
6. Green Kunai Carryall
Answer: Back Bling
The Green Kunai Carryall, released during Chapter 6, is an example of an item that is not a product of a collaboration with another entertainment franchise, rather it is a pure 'Fortnite' creation. This item is a piece of predominantly jade-coloured Back Bling that relies on themes of the Far East with the name explicitly referencing kunai, a Japanese tool used in masonry but also associated with ninjas.
The Green Kunai Carryall stores the kunai in a side pouch.
7. Leftorium Emergency Kit
Answer: Back Bling
In 'The Simpsons', Ned Flanders becomes a champion of all things left-handed. In a 1991 episode of the famous cartoon, Ned opens the Leftorium, a store in Springfield Mall selling a variety of items for the sinister folk of the town such as scissors, corkscrews and t-shirts with corny slogans!
The passion Ned Flanders has for left-handedness was brought to life during 'The Simpsons' x 'Fortnite' collaboration of late 2025; a piece of Back Bling called the Leftorium Emergency Kit is effectively a bag containing everything a "lefty" would need when they are in a spot of bother. On the front of the kit - in big red letters - an instruction reads, "break glass in case of left-handed emergency".
8. Baller's Duffel
Answer: Back Bling
Baller's Duffel doesn't refer to a duffel coat but rather to a duffel bag! It was released to the 'Fortnite' community in Chapter 6 via the Fort Ballers Bundle, a group of items themed around the sport of basketball. Baller's Duffel is coloured red, white and blue and is emblazoned with the logo of the National Basketball Association (NBA). To hammer home the theme, a stylised orange basketball features on one side of the duffel.
9. Maggie's Cart-a-copter
Answer: Glider
When 'The Simpsons' took over the 'Fortnite' map towards the tail-end of Chapter 6 of the flagship Battle Royale mode, it impacted every facet of gameplay. Players were afforded a completely immersive experience whether it be playing as iconic Springfield characters, frequenting establishments such as Moe's Tavern or consuming goods such as the Super Squishee.
To start a game of Battle Royale, a player must jump from the Battle Bus and once the free-fall phase is over, a player can use a Glider to land precisely in a location of their choosing. 'The Simpsons' x 'Fortnite' collaboration introduced a number of Gliders including Maggie's Cart-a-copter, a flying shopping cart containing Maggie Simpson (and a number of unhealthy goods from the Kwik-E-Mart) inspired by the opening credits of the successful cartoon.
10. Rebel Wookiee Lander
Answer: Glider
During Chapter 6 of Battle Royale, a mini-season - marketed with the slogan 'Galactic Battle' - was released inspired by the 'Star Wars' universe. The Battle Pass associated with this mini-season was jam-packed with digital 'Star Wars' collectibles, including a Glider called the Rebel Wookiee Lander. 'Fortnite' introduced the Rebel Wookie Lander with an invitation to "fly the Rebellion's emblem with furry flair"; personally, I find it easier to describe this Glider as half machine and half Chewbacca!
11. Deadpool Dropper
Answer: Glider
The Deadpool Dropper - a visually appealing, red and black Glider - was released mid-way through Chapter 5 of 'Fortnite'. Taking the form of a hot-air balloon, 'Fortnite' creators humorously described the Glider as "full of hot air, just like Wade", a not-so-subtle reference to the alter ego of Deadpool, Wade Wilson.
Other items made available alongside the Deadpool Dropper included a Back Bling called Headpool and an Outfit named Deadpool (Pen & Ink), the latter inspired by the superhero's appearance in 'Deadpool & Wolverine' (2024).
12. Silver Surfer's Surfboard
Answer: Glider
'Fortnite' has collaborated with Marvel on a number of occasions since the game's inception back in 2017. An early collaboration between the two took place during Chapter 2: Season 4 (late 2020) and it was at this time that the Silver Surfer Set was released, a collection of five, purely silver cosmetics which included the Silver Surfer Outfit, the Silver Surfer's Surfboard and a Back Bling called Herald's Star.
