Vainglory is the recommended fifth item for Akeron in Offlane and Jungle. This ties in very well with Giant's Ring, as Vainglory makes the buyer progressively tankier each time they take damage from anything.

Frostguard is the recommended sixth item for Akeron Jungle and Offlane. This is a solid catch-all, providing both Magic and Physical armor, while having good synergy with Giant's Ring by further penalizing foes who basic attack Akeron.

Tempest is the recommended Crest Item for Akeron Jungle and Offlane. It offers him more healing and some added dueling potential.

Tainted Scepter is the recommended Anti-Heal for Akeron, in lieu of an option such as Tainted Guard or Bastion. The explanation for this may be that pushing Akeron into a straight Tank role is something Steel completely outclasses him at as an Offlaner, and Rampage as a Jungler. So, Omeda is likely pushing players to dip a little more into damage with Tainted Scepter, which the aforementioned pair cannot use well at all.

Stamina Tonic is the recommended 'Extra' of choice. An Extra is purchased when a player's full item build is finished. Stamina Tonic grants the user a five minute buff which increases their Max HP and Ability Haste, both being by far Akeron's most important stats.

Demolisher and Cursed Ring are Carry items. Akeron is not a Carry.

Prophecy and World Breaker are Mage items. Though Akeron does deal a fair bit of Magic damage, he is not a Mage.

Hexbound Bracers and Devotion are Support items. Akeron is not a Support.

Deathstalker and Demon Edge are Assassin items. Although 'Demon' Edge may seem to go well with Akeron being a Demon King, it is sadly not to be.
