2. Before she became an actress, what was Audrey trained in?

Answer: Ballet

As a child, she dreamt of being a prima ballerina.
3. In what play did Audrey make her Broadway debut?

Answer: Gigi

She was the star of 'Gigi', playing Gigi (the title character). She was to receive rave reviews.
4. Audrey was to make her American debut in what film?

Answer: Roman Holiday

She starred opposite Gregory Peck, in this film (made in 1952). It's a great film, and she won a Best Actress Academy Award for her role of Princess Anne. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
5. This man designed Audrey's magnificent costumes for the movie 'Sabrina', among many of her other films. He is also credited for creating the 'Hepburn look'. Who is he?

Answer: Hubert de Givenchy

French couturier Hubert de Givenchy not only created the 'Hepburn look', he and Audrey ended up life long friends. And he always remained her favorite designer. He even served as a pallbearer at her funeral. 'Sabrina' is another Hepburn film I highly recommend.
6. Audrey married her first husband, Mel Ferrer, in what year?

Answer: 1954

They were married in Switzerland on 25th September 1954. They divorced in 1967.
7. What was the name of Audrey's first Yorkshire terrier?

Answer: Mr. Famous

Mr. Famous was often called simply Famous. He was like a child substitute for Audrey, having already suffered a miscarriage. After he died, she was given a new Yorkie to be named Assam of Assam.
8. Audrey won the 1959 New York Critic's Award for her work on what film?

Answer: The Nun's Story

'The Nun's Story' is an excellent film, and in my opinion, she truly deserved that award. She was nominated for an Oscar, but lost to Simone Signoret for 'Room at the Top'. 'Green Mansions' was also made in 1959, but 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' and 'The Unforgiven' weren't made until the early 1960s.
9. Audrey had to finish filming what film in a back brace?

Answer: The Unforgiven

She was thrown from a horse and had broken several vertebrae. She also had her second miscarriage while filming 'The Unforgiven'.
10. On 17th July 1960, Audrey finally had a child. What did she and Mel Ferrer name their son?

Answer: Sean

After the birth of Sean, Audrey is said to have said 'The long wait made it that much sweeter.' She was referring to giving birth and having children (something she had wanted more than anything in the world).
11. "Breakfast at Tiffany's" (1961) : Truman Capote originally wrote the role of Holly Golightly for which other actress?

Answer: Marilyn Monroe

Yep, he intended it for Marilyn Monroe. I really liked Audrey as Holly, even though Truman Capote didn't like it so much.
12. What is the real name of Cat in "Breakfast at Tiffany's"?

Answer: Rhubarb

Even though he was 'a poor slob without a name' to Holly, to everyone else he was Rhubarb.
13. Which of Audrey's films won an Academy Award for Best Picture?

Answer: "My Fair Lady" (1964)

Not only that, it won seven other Academy Awards, including those for Best Director, Best Costume Design, and Best Actor.

17. AACORDING TO "People" magazine, Audrey had a total of how many miscarriages?

Answer: 5

I guess that is (at least part of) the reason why she cherished her children, and other children, so very much. She had wanted children more than anything in the world.
18. Which of these awards did Audrey receive in 1990?

Answer: Cecil B. DeMille Award

She received a Tony Award for her work in the play 'Ondine' (1953-54). She received an Academy Award for the film 'Roman Holiday' (1953), Cecil B. DeMille Award in 1990 for her outstanding contributions in entertainment, and an Emmy in 1993 for "Gardens of the World with Audrey Hepburn".
