St. Petersburg is a city in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. The St. Petersburg Times were renamed to Tampa Bay Times on January 1, 2012. In his article Karl Vick described a symposium regarding violence at work which was sponsored by the US Postal Service. In his article he mentioned that "....in some circles excessive stress is known as 'going postal'...".

Answer: Edmond

The shooting at Edmond was the first known act of violence in a postal office. It most probably gave rise to the term "Going Postal". Fourteen of the twenty victims died and Patrick Sherrill committed suicide.
Tulsa is the second largest city in Oklahoma. Both Peoria and Chicago are in Illinois.

He had worked for the company for 17 years but at the time he was on disability leave.

The shooting took place in the warehouse of Hartford Distributors in Manchester. Omar Sheriff Thornton was accused of stealing beer from the warehouse and was forced into signing his resignation papers. He produced from his bag two automatic pistols and started shooting. He then committed suicide.

All the options are actual places in both Connecticut and England from which only Manchester was until 1974 part of Lancashire. In 1974 Manchester became part of the Greater Manchester area which is divided into ten boroughs.
