"Blueberry Hill" (1940) was written by Vincent Rose, Al Lewis and Larry Stock. It has been recorded by many artists, but Louis Armstrong's 1949 version made it to the Billboard Top Forty. In 1956 Fats Domino also made it to the Billboard Top Forty with this song as a number two hit.

Interestingly, in 2010, Vladimir Putin, the Prime Minister of Russia, performed the song in front of an audience for a charity for children.

White lightning is a slang term to describe moonshine, the private production of alcohol. It's called white lightning because it hasn't been aged and is sold with a high alcohol proof, making it very strong with a "lightning-like" kick to it. The term white lightning is used mainly in the U.S.A.
3. What is the name of a game played by kids, in which they try to break through the line of kids on each of two teams?

Answer: Red Rover

Red Rover is played by two opposing teams. Teams are chosen and each forms a line. One side starts by calling a person from the other team over. That person runs and tries to break through the arms of the team he is charging toward. If he breaks trough he picks a person to take back to his team. If he fails to break through he remains on that team and does not return to his original team.

The teams alternate turns in calling people over to try to break through. When one team succeeds in having all of the players on that team, the game is over.

The boy, who says his call sign is "Teddy Bear", strikes up a conversation with a trucker. The trucker heads for the boy's home to take him for a ride only to find that several other truckers, who were listening to the conversation on their CBs, also showed up at the boy's home. Red Sovine is also known for such songs as "Phantom 309" (1967) and "Giddyup Go" (1965).

Edward Charles "Whitey" Ford was born October 21, 1928. He was a Major League Baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees for his entire eighteen-year career. In 1974 he was voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. What a great career he had with highlights in 1961 when he was awarded the Cy Young Award, World Series MVP and the Babe Ruth Award. Throughout his career, Whitey Ford had ten World Series victories. Whitey was also known as "The Chairman of the Board" and "Slick".

Clarence "Red" Faber spent his entire career with the Chicago White Sox. Rick "Red Baron" Sutcliffe, a starting pitcher, played for the L.A. Dodgers, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs, Baltimore Orioles and St. Louis Cardinals. Richard Michael "The White Gorilla" Gossage, also known by the nickname "Goose", was a relief pitcher for ten different teams over the course of his career.

"Blue Suede Shoes" was both written by and recorded by Carl Perkins in 1955. Elvis Presley covered the song. What inspired the song was when Perkins was playing at a dance and happened to notice a couple near the stage. The young man sternly said to the young woman "Uh-uh, don't step on my suedes!" Perkins noticed that the shoes were blue suede shoes.

This incident sparked the creation of the song which reached number one on the US Billboard Country and Western Chart. It also reached respectable placements on many other music charts.

When Elvis recorded the song, it reached number 20 on the US Billboard Country and Western Chart. Elvis recorded "Mean Woman Blues" in 1957, "Blue Moon" in 1956 and "Blue Moon of Kentucky" in 1954.
