The role of Buddy was played by a golden retriever whose name was actually Air Buddy. He also learned to play football, baseball, volleyball and soccer before the franchise was turned over to his puppies in several subsequent movies.
3. Bernard "Buddy" Rich (1917-1987), American jazz musician and bandleader, was billed as the "world's greatest" on which instrument?

Charles Hardin Holley was always called Buddy by his family and used that name to perform under. Under contract with Decca he recorded an earlier version of "That'll Be the Day" before being released from his contract. He recorded the #1 version under the band name The Crickets to get around any rights claims by Decca. Decca, incidentally also turned down the Beatles as well, proving that not everyone in the music business was an expert.
5. To become a member of the special operations force called the Navy Seals, trainees must undergo a six month course called BUD/S. What does BUD/S stand for?

Answer: Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL

SEa, Air and Land team trainees undergo 8 weeks of basic training in physical and mental endurance under extreme conditions, followed by 8 weeks of diving and underwater instruction, followed by 9 weeks of learning land warfare, weapons and demolition tactics and strategies.
