It had been scheduled to land at Hartsfield International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia. Roughly ten minutes after takeoff, ValuJet 592 crashed into the Everglades which cost the lives of all 110 people on board.

The jet was brought down by a fire caused by the improper packaging and labeling of hazardous material in the cargo hold.

Vanadium was thought to have been originally discovered by a Spanish scientist named Andred Manuel del Rio in 1801. However, del Rio's claim was erroneously declared invalid. Credit for the Vanadium's discovery was officially given to Swedish scientist Nils Gabriel Sefström, who rediscovered the element in 1831. The Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge was completed and opened to traffic on November 21, 1964. It is a double-decked suspension bridge that links the boroughs of Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York and stands above the Narrows, a waterway that links New York Harbor to the Atlantic Ocean.

At the time of its completion, the Verrazzano was the longest suspension bridge in the world. It lost this status after the Humber Bridge in England was completed in 1981. It was named after Italian explorer Giovanni de Verrazzano (1485-1528).

It has an average diameter of 525 km (326 mi). Rheasilvia is a mountain that is found on Vesta. It was discovered by the Hubble Space Telescope in 1997 and is one of (if not the) tallest mountains in the entire Solar System. Rheasilvia is measured between 20-25 km in height above the asteroid's surface.
