1. Which city had "Shahjahanabad" as one of its ancient names?

Then it was ruled by the various dynasties of the Sultanate. It had the names Siri, Tughlaqabad, Firoz Shah Kotla, Jahapanah, and finally it became the capital of the Mogul emperor Shah Jahan, who renamed it Shahjahanabad.

When it became the capital of British India, it was reconstructed by the architect Edward Lutyens, and got its modern name, New Delhi, a modest distance away from old Delhi.
