Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Iguazu National Park is located in Misiones Province, Argentina. An extraordinarily rich array of plants, animals and insects may be found in this park. Please note that there are several different spellings for the falls. Iguazu Falls generally refers to the park situated in Argentina. Iguacu or Iguassu is the spelling for the falls as seen from across the border from Argentina. The Spanish name for the falls is, "Cataratas del Iguazú."

The Nevado Sajama peak provides a splendid view of an extinct volcano. It is located in the Oruro Department, Bolivia. It was established as a national park in 1939.

Iguacu (or Iguassu) National Park is located on the Brazilian side of the Iguazu River. The falls are situated on the border between Parana State, Brazil, and the second largest country in South America. The Portuguese name for the falls is, "Cataratas do Iguaçu."
