1. Jane Grey worked as a hairdresser at Antoine's until she was fired. Why was she fired?

Answer: She yelled at a customer

The customer was a woman who always brought her dog with her. Jane yelled at her because she was fed up with telling her story about the murder.
2. How did the dart get into Madame Giselle's neck?

Answer: By hand

Poirot knew the blowpipe wasn't used because it was impossible for someone to have used it and not have been seen. Also it seemed as though it was meant to be found when it could have been easily disposed of.
3. Who was never involved with any blackmail?

Answer: Mr. Clancy

Lady Horbury was being blackmailed by Giselle. Poirot sent Norman, in disguise, to pretend to blackmail Lady Horbury to see if she knew any information.
4. Madame Giselle's daughter, Ann, is Lady Horbury's maid under what name?

Answer: Madeline

Ann was very aware of who her mother was despite her conversation with Poirot.

Madame Giselle's daughter is Ann/Madeline. Mr. Dupont's son is Jean. Madame Giselle's maid, Elise, had a daughter who is now dead.

Lord Horbury does not want to divorce his wife because he is morally against it.

Norman Gale bought the blowpipe to fool everyone into thinking he could not have done the murder.
